"visited on the 6th of May. had to book at 8.15 o'clock and said we had to go at 9.45 fine. five minutes early. order drinks 20 minutes later, of which only one came after 40 minutes when our orders were taken. around 8.25 waiting an hour and 10 minutes, I asked to see the manager as there were their time, we had to be within 20 minutes after three courses. many apologized etc.; free bottle wein proffered. since we had just delivered two to the table, this was simply stupid, a standard calms down the trick of the jäger. starter came 10 minutes before departure, net 25 minutes later. two party members had to pluck to catch their moves. service peripatetic with the waitress who plays the storerick, do not write down commands. does not work or impresses. a pad and pencil stay the reasonable option. at the end of our meal, when the restaurant has meanwhile been half empty two sets of newcomers on our right side were both ourved water for 35 minutes. one has remained angry. quite clear that the site does not have a coherent training, planning or organisation. I propose to avoid proof that they actually order and delivery in a reasonable time. owned by the city pub group, which is with debt and loss, it may be that they have decided to scrimpen on personal and education. Hopefully."

beautiful place with good food. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. the toilets are usually central london pub type and a but grotty.

We came here for a Sunday lunch. The pub itself is lovely a large and well decorated garden, and was nice inside too. The food was good. The burger and roast was highly rated, I found the vegetarian option nice although would have liked more variety on the menu. Would definitely go back!

I was excited to try the Phene as they say on their website they have an extensive vegan menu. This is not the case. They have one fairly average risotto that was tiny. I would like to go back as it’s just around the corner...from my house but I won’t whilst they don’t cater to vegans. However the service was decent and the garden is nice.

We held our wedding dinner in The Club Room. The food was outstanding with everyone devouring all of their meals . The waiter (Henry I believe ? went out of his way to make sure nothing was too much trouble and really helped make the whole thing even more special. The garden was a lovely addition with a fantastic atmosphere. We will definately be returning

we went to the birthday of friends and unfortunately the employees were very self-righteous and rude, so puzzling commentaries with us that annoyed my friend. Although we enjoyed the prosecco and the decor, our night was completely ruined by the staff. we then asked if...we could remove the service and the waitress said: "I have had enough taps anyway, I don't need her money." then she made my friend cry and said we should go through the back “so we don't embarrass ourselves” with my friend weep. would not recommend it.

I'm sorry, but I'm having lunch for the osters on Sunday. service was almost unexistent. waited to be served in the garden area forever. the food was totally abandoned. squid was overcooked and so obviously frozen and mass produced. Lamm for two was a shock over... beef roasted beef was a piece of beef, a dry yorkshire pudding and veg that seemed to be from deep frost. roasted potatoes dry and clear not fresh. I'm sorry, but if you want to tear the people off, try to do so discreetly and not so obvious. over £200 for Sunday dinner, dry, veg from the freezer and service very bad. shocking and never again.
