"We travelled to Maybole last week and the food was so good that we went twice. I had the Chicken Tempura for lunch and it was delicious, just the right amount of crisp and the perfect heat for the chilli sauce too. Dinner was exceptional, I had the steak and sometimes ordering 'medium rare ' can be a bit hit and miss this was like cutting through a cloud, it melted in my mouth. Probably one of the best steaks I 've ever had. Jim and Donna were as welcoming as they ever are, and that 's always brilliant. The kids and my husband loved it too, especially our friend 's child from Birmingham who knew nothing of Scotland found it so friendly and warm. Will definitely be back. Thanks Donna and Jim and all the very helpful and friendly staff."

My son and I went to the Carrick bar and grill for father's day the food was absolutely amazing the staff we r so friendly and accommodating nothing was a problem I can only give this place a resounding 10 out of ten amazing the best food in ayrshire

Took family to this lovely little place for lunch 6 of us and must say excelled any expectations .from starters to main meals and deserts all quality healthy portions and no big wait between .staff couldn't do enough and price says it all .doing a great service and anytime we are back near area we will be back for sure.thanks guys well done deserved 10 out of 10 Voir le carte

Visited for lunch and was really impressed, chef was happy to accommodate my food allergies and adapted the menu for me. Food was amazing, first time in ages I have ordered with full confidence in the kitchen preparing Gluten-free, well done Chef A . As for out waitress Sandi, she could not have done any more for us, very friendly and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Well done to you all, keep up the good work.

We are just back from having our meal, and I was very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I both decided to have our evening meal based on previous reviews. The staff were very friendly and attentive ! My wife ordered from the early bird menu while I ordered from the main menu. I ordered beef steak pie which was full of very tender beef chunks with a pastry top which came with veg and wedges. My wife had macaroni cheese which she said was more than plenty. However that did not stop us ordering sweets again my wife took from the early bird menu and me from the full menu. Everything was very enjoyable and tasty would I return again ? Of course I would excellent value for money
