Important for me is a warm plate for my meal and the Kylestrome provide this, thank you so much! Seems a simple thing, but amazing how often some eateries think it's ok to have cold plates. Our roast potatoes, veggies (favourite cauliflower cheese) and Yorkshire pudding, gravy etc were very fresh and tasty, much enjoyed. Desserts were delicious, without exception. My only negative comment would be that we were seated adjacent to the main entrance and the cold draft did detract from our experience a bit. Those tables should be avoided if there are tables available at the lower level area of the restaurant. Thank you to all staff. we will return to the Kylestrome soon."

We have been at the restaurant many times, probably 3/4 times a year. The service this time was awful. Have to say it didn’t appear to be the serving staff at fault but the kitchen!

Our visit this time was something of a disappointment. We have been regulars here for a number of years now but this is the first time we had cause to complain. The potato and leek soup was no more that than pie in the sky. It comprised mostly of lumps of potato with a huge amount of carrot and greasy stock. My wife's veg with her meal was as hard as bricks and the replacement was rubbery. My own meal was OK although the goujons of sole consisted of a large piece and a small piece. To finish it off the coffee machine had broken down. Not up to usual high-standard.
