the second time here and as good as ever. Service/Food/Atmosphere etc. all brilliant, prices also quite reasonable. skin on fries with rodyère and crabs. the briny equivalents of dirty pommes are something else!

the food was in this restaurant. the fish of the day was very tender and juicy. the braut was also great. dessert: pumpkin cake with beeen mild combination of pumpkin cake and cream delicious! I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

fabulous eating, fabulous eating, good service. not just for us, as we are clinically vulnerable, but they managed to get us out of this and it was so good to eat. our first time in 2 years! our son is here at uni, so I hope we can have a safe visit soon. more fabulous thanks! Voir le carte

Invited by my son and his girlfriend to join them here. Great place, great food and great ambiance. Starters of Crab and Pork Belly were both taste sensations. My Baked Cod with chickpeas and bacon was mouthwatering and gone to soon... to finsh a medley of puddings great raspberry brioche, but the best was the plain chocolate and ice cream... the price was steep... but for once, worth it!!! Highly recommend...!!!

I love this venue. I’ve not been often but they’re so wonderful! The food, the wine, the service, they are fabulous. After a slightly awkward dinner with louder tables; they were very sympathetic and understanding and tried to deal with things appropriately. Anyway, asides from that it was a brilliant evening and they are lovely in there. I wanted to revisit here and enjoy the experience. They’re on par with decent London restaurants. We went on holiday at the beach and fortunately we discovered this gem for our brunch. The place has a beautiful sea view and it is welcoming inside. The service is well organise and so attentive they split their responsibilities to bring food and drinks without any waiting time. The food was superb and well presented. Sea front restaurant serving a variety of fish/seafood dishes. Inviting looking outside area perfect for when the weathers good. Inside has a different feel, very well designed stylish restaurant. Service was exceptional, one of the few places that seems well staffed at the moment. Fish was excellent very crispy and flakey inside, came with curry sauce but not with tartar as says on the menu had to request this separately. Pickled cockles excellent accompanied with bread and butter. Fried trout superb. Will be back when next in Portsmouth.

After settling in, we ordered our drinks, and the menu offered a nice variety of options. The food we received was both delicious and fresh, and the overall service was pleasant. However, we did experience some inconsistency with five different staff members attending to our orders, food, drinks, and payment process. The restaurant itself was clean and well-designed, featuring a great selection of indoor and outdoor seating options. There were also tables, a bar, and seating arrangements to suit various dining preferences. On a sunny day, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal.

A delightful seafood restaurant. On arrival and as we were early for a 2.30 reservation had a drink at the bar.All staff were thoroughly engaging and knowledgeable about the local spirits being used in some of the cocktails. Also drink and food. Our table for two overlooked the promenade and out to the solent. The menu is also augmented with daily specials. The seafood is as you would expect '2nd to none ' . We had the battered samphire, cockles, oysters, crab special of the day and also catch of the day which was plaice, all of which was perfect and accompanied with excellent wine from a wide and exacting wine menu.
