"under new management. Give him a revisit! we've been here and gone for years. the place where our employees were organized Christmas celebrations, and although the parties were in order, we did not like the rude personal, terrible eating or general atmosphere. it has changed several times the hands and each new incumbent seems to bring it a notch. 3 years ago we organized a golden wedding party and the event was successful, the accommodation was warm comfortable and clean and dodd and the staff pretty good. lately we have a watch at the place and the new managers were both brilliant. we had some pretty exact requirements and they could not do enough to help. we had a family stay and they liked the accommodation (although I can't comment on it because it's not my personal experience.) that eating was really good, very generous and fresh and tasty. to organize the watch, we called some paints, just to have a meal or drink or to make plans. everyone was pleasant. yes there are things that can be improved, some areas are a little tired looking and the choices at the bar are quite limited. but it is clean and welcoming and I am confident that the new owners will put the necessary love in the company's growth. I look forward to many future visits and would not have reservations for larger events. they are welcoming, funny and receiving people."

The Brewers Arm is a friendly, well run and homely pub, with excellent ales, gin and whisk(e)y selection and decent grub. Landlord and lady, Chris and Christine make a great team. I recommend stopping by!

I have reviewed the Brewers Arms since the re-furbishment on trip advisor twice, once for the premises and now once for the food. The re-furbishment is spndid. It now has the only proper disabled toilet in any local pub. I gave the premises 5 stars. I went with a meal last Friday with friends. All had some very good food and I gave it 5stars.

we were a party of 3 cyclists on the trans pennine trail and what was for a beautiful fund the brewers! Unfortunately we were on a Sunday, so no dinner time, but there are many possibilities close to, but the welcome and accommodation for our bikes was more than furnished and the beer was excellent. beautiful room and a great breakfast. we have beaten a very happy baptism!

Brewers was the place we sat and ate in a couple of years ago making the decision to move to Snaith 14 miles away from friends and family! It's warm and welcoming atmosphere was fantastic! Having Brewers as a local feels like a lotto win and the transformation the renovation work has had is mind blowing! Fantastic staff, fantastic food and a fantastic atmosphere! Can't ask for more!!!

"Visited today with my wife and month old daughter whilst we are on holiday in the area. We didn’t have a booking but this wasn’t a problem, the staff were friendly throughout and accommodating about lack of booking. We asked for a children’s menu...(website says they have one) but we were advised it’s was the basket meals menu which they advertise as selling to guests sat outside, they did also mention they could make a smaller portion of something from the adult menu. The basket meals menu is mainly fried food and chips, the kind you might share with friends over drinks, I wouldn’t call it a children’s menu. To me a children’s meal should at least come with some option of veg/salad/beans and ideally not be fried, plus the chips that arrived with her chicken bites were salted, not great for little ones. We didn’t make a fuss as for one meal as a treat we weren’t unduly worried but it would put me off going back with children. They also charged the full basket meal price so no reduction for children. Our meals, fried garlic mushrooms, salt and pepper chicken goujons to start then a beef burger and chicken burger as mains, arrived promptly and were generous portions. The food was fine, nothing spectacular just average pub food. The main issue on our visit and the thing that made the whole meal much more stressful and unenjoyable was the flies, we were sat in what they called the restaurant area and our whole meal start to finish was disrupted by or flies continuously buzzing round us, trying to land on our food and land on us, not fun. I accept that or flies can be around when doors or windows are open and it’s hard to stop them coming when food is around but or round us and more to be seen in the room seems too many to me, it really put us off especially when they were landing on our daughter. At the point of eating the meal we didn’t raise the issue as we couldn’t see that anything could be done about it and I’m sure the staff are not a fan of the flies either. I did raise the issue whilst paying and was told they knew about the problem and were doing their best to solve it, sadly for us it would stop me wanting to go again. All in all not a great experience and the food whilst nice enough wasn’t good enough to overcome the issue of the flies and the lack of a proper children’s menu."
