Our favourite place to visit, with exceptional cakes (especially the brownie) and wonderful staff, who always make you feel so welcome.

Quaint cafè. Set in a rural environment. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Large portions and good quality. Both hot and cold food all served with simply the best cakes

What a lovely place and a very nice breakfast. The coffee was great. The main English breakfast only comes with one sausage not two like on the pictures. If a second was given and also a second hash brown the breakfast would be excellent.

I brought my family and friends to have afternoon tea yesterday . The venue was perfect the food hot fresh amazing Every little detail had been thought of The staff were very polite friendly It’s defiantly worth the visit a hidden gem We are already planning our next visit

Absolutely OUTSTANDING as always, however today’s breakfast was unreal!!! The mushrooms were to die for, the black pudding (I added this on is the best you’ll ever eat and the staff were so lovely. Really good customer service and I walked out saying to my husband ‘that was quite literally the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten’! 100% quality food and worth every penny. Keep up the good work guys :

Excellent lunch, delicious food and great service. We shared two plates a sandwich and a ploughman’s. I was delighted with the ploughman’s, good portion size of ham and smoked cheese, lovely homemade coleslaw and relish, fresh salad and excellent choice of crisps… makes a big difference. Very priced too. Having worried in hospitality for over 30 years, well done, it was a pleasure visiting another independent. We will be back soon.

I went today for my baby shower. We had a slight panic when we saw a sign saying they were short staffed but they were still extremely attentive, and made sure our tea pots were topped up whenever needed! Lovely staff, lovely setting and oh my goodness…. The cakes!!! The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, all fresh homemade sandwiches, warm homemade cheese straws, and individual portions of prawn cocktail. the cakes topped it off perfectly and everyone loved it!
