Highly recommend the tempura prawn starter.A little chilly in the snug bar but it was the first week in January. Very patient and accommodating staff. Definitely going back soon

Tonight was our first time dining as a family, including our 6-week-old grandchild. Wow! The food was really delicious, and the staff was both wonderful and thoughtful. We definitely plan to return soon if we can manage it! Voir le carte

we have been reopened for three years and cannot blame them. the food proportions are large and well priced. the 2 for £15 deal is big. perfect for couples and family dinners. the lamb was delicious and they have the best afteros around! we recommend and will visit again soon.

we are so happy that the blue boar again open, love the new facility and lay. they eat many paints there, as it is open again, and cannot fail. service always on, beautiful happy smiling staff, eating is fab right home cooked ... we loved the 2 for £15 we had a lunchtime, served with a beautifully dressed byalat and garlic ciabatta, and the Sunday roasts are also beautiful.

Fitted us in last minute and so glad we tried. Very friendly attentive staff, great pint and food was delicious. Butternut squash rissoto was very well cooked and seasoned perfectly. Homemade burger was one of the best burgers I've had with loads of well cooked fries a bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. All in all very tasty and very filling, unfortunately no room for desert.....give it a try but make sure you book. Voir le carte

We came here to try out the new menu created by the new owners, and we can only say wow. The food is incredible. The spring rolls were amazing and not lacking in any way. The wild boar was excellent, and the brownie dessert with sky sorbet was absolutely divine. My husband had the banana bread which was also incredible. We can't fault the food at all. The staff was also wonderful. They were attentive and it was hard to believe that it was a newly opened restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

I have not eaten as well or service as what I had for dinner in the blue boar for a long time in a nightoft. they had a fantastic menu with a mix of seasonal original dishes and sturdy pub classics. all were delicious. the portions were very generous, but the quality was just as good. the waiters were super friendly and very attentive, a real credit for this pub. Thanks for looking around us! the place itself is cozy and only a beautiful place to be. parking is large and the beer garden looked really nice.

The food here is amazing! Really generous portion sizes and it tastes beautiful. There is a great selection to choose from on the menu. I had the fish finger ciabatta and I couldn't fault it. The person I was with had the risotto and they really enjoyed their food too. The choice of wine was also good and I really liked the rosé on offer. The decor is cute and I love they are incorporating pigs (it is the Blue Boar after all). I am coming back for sure... Everything that left the kitchen looked yummy... I'm looking forward to trying quite a few things on the menu. Voir le carte
