"Tintagel is our happy place as my husband was born here and we got married locally, so we visit often! After have an early lunch with my mother in law we were not too hungry so we decided to share chips and sausages. The service was strange, they take your order and money, then a child about 16 serves you and gets annoyed when you don’t know the systems and you are standing on the wrong side. Not friendly or welcoming and the chips were some of the worse I have tasted! Scraps from the bottom but that was not what we ordered, we ordered chips! I am assuming they don’t really care as the reviews are not great on any site, because they basically sell to tourists or what they think are tourists! who are not coming back. Disappointed to say the least. It’s a kebab/ burger joint masquerading as a fish and chip shop! The choice of fish to order is non existent! I am not saying don’t visit! The kebabs and burgers might be great!"

What happened with this chippy use to be lovely food but went there last night and very disappointed put my kebab meat and chips straight in the bin even found hair in the kebab meat and it wasn't my hair will NOT use again Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I popped in here this evening without reading any reviews which I would normally do but the smell was too good to resist. We walked back to our rented cottage a few mins away and the fish and chips were gorgeous. We had mushy peas and bread too!! I then read the reviews on here and was really shocked to be honest. I love good old fashioned proper chips and these were exactly that. The fish was cooked perfect. I would def recommend Food: 5
