"We were able to secure a table for four at this restaurant on a Saturday night at short notice, which made us a little anxious. However, when we arrived around 7pm, the parking lot was empty, causing us to wonder if we had made a mistake. To our pleasant surprise, we were warmly welcomed and the service and food were excellent. We had brought along our two pampered dogs, who were allowed in the bar area and even received special attention from the owner. It was puzzling to us why the restaurant wasn't busier, as we are locals and this was our first visit. However, we are confident that this will become a regular spot for us. Overall, it was a great place for a lovely evening."

after visiting broadway for a wonderful lunch. nice pub. that was delicious. had fish chips and bangers mash that were pretty good. I love the crumb for dessert. the personal has treated us amazingly well.

We were a group of twelve friends staying nearby and enjoyed dinner on our last night. The food and service were outstanding, and each of us would definitely come back if we were in the area again. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others. Voir le carte

really nice little village pub. the rooms where to stay are really nice. we had breakfast and it was good. there had a nice evening that celebrated on a party. went to dinner recently for one and was really good and a nice portion, dessert was super.

Sue made so welcome as always, an absolute lovely Sunday roast the best for miles around my husband had a burger and equally delicious he said. The pudding Sue to die for, thank you to all, the young man who served us and the chef who cooked. scrumptious, many thanks, Dave and Leigh

The hotel/pub at this restaurant is charming, with excellent food. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the owner, Sue, is very welcoming and helpful. They even have a section where you can bring your dogs, as well as a garden and parking in the back. Overall, it's a lovely place to enjoy a meal. Voir le carte

We had 2 overnight B&B stays in May en route to Cornwall and back. Sue allowed us to take our 2 cats on both occasions and they settled in very quickly. We found Sue and her staff very accommodating, the breakfast was freshly cooked to order and the food excellent. We had no hesitation at booking again for stop overs to Somerset and back in August/September our cats in tow again!

We reserved our table ahead for Sunday Lunch. Sue, the manager was helpful on the 'phone when asked re lunch service and veg. options. As well as traditional roasts, they offer a nice selection, including a sea bass beurre blanc. My sirloin beef was a quality cut, generous; not too thinly sliced, served with traditional trimmings and four tasty veg. Both meals were delicious and came well-presented. Staff are friendly in a relaxed, cosy ambience. Prices are good. We 'll definitely return!
