The food was incredible, and it was such a pleasure to enjoy delicious dishes with generous portions. The hospitality was outstanding. Thank you!

I wrote a longer review but it disappeared. The ribs were fabulous! Can’t recommend this pub enough for the welcome, service amazing ribs, Asian slaw fries. The Biscoff cheesecake was delicious too! Definitely worth the drive out to Shenington.

We visited for the first time today and were both most impressed with the Sunday Lunch. Simply superb, my compliments to the chef. The Yorkshire puddings were outstanding! Friendly service, great food, lovely atmosphere. And Max the dog is a sweetheart. There's not a great deal of parking around and it's a relatively small pub so reservations are recommended. We will definitely be back!

Today was our first visit to The Bell, and it definitely won't be our last. The Yorkshire puddings tasted just like homemade, and the atmosphere in the pub was small but very comfortable and cozy. The service was fantastic and friendly. If you're planning on going for Sunday roasts, I highly recommend making a reservation. An added bonus to this pub is Max the dog, who adds a charming touch to the place!

We absolutely adore The Bell! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is incredibly delicious. The staff, Thos and Mikey, are always ready to accommodate any dietary restrictions (I am vegan and have never been disappointed with a meal there). The dishes are made with local, seasonal ingredients and are beautifully presented - you can tell they are made with care. There is a great selection of wines, and their dog Max is adorable!

I went to lunch with my wife and my baby boy on Wednesday. cordially welcome and service by jen and koch mike prepared us a couple of starter calamari, lammkoftas and the Asian style broth were delicious and so unique for pub grub. we followed this with a beautiful bark plate with petersnip. eating was the highlight of our 1 week stay in the opposite no place to pudding so we hope to try again a few more next time we are in the opposite!

We went to this pub because it was a second walk from our Airbnb but we were so lucky that the proximity was not the biggest perk...! The food was really tasty and the customer service was superb. The icing on the cake (or...bun.. however, occurred the day after our visit. We had forgotten to buy burger buns for our grill and since there was no shop within walking distance we went and asked if we could buy some off the pub. The very likeable Scottish proprietor donated us ten beautiful buns. Excellent establishments on all accounts!

if they find a pub so good, they are almost trying to keep it to themselves, so it doesn't really work, but I can't help recommend the bell is simply the best place to eat locally! each visit was excellent, especially my birthday meal, which was made so special by a really nice experience that enjoyed the whole party. amazing and imaginative cuisine perfectly cooked and with attention to every aspect of the meal, friendly and real staff who clearly love what they do, a beautiful village and ambiente, plus thoughtful touches like delicious craftsman brot and homemade butter (which would have thought, brot and butter could taste so good!? What else could they ask for?

Friends took us to their local pub for Sunday lunch after a long dog walk. They had booked a table for so a late lunch! You might have been forgiven to think what will be left on the meat side for the roasts but...I was pleasantly surprised there was a wide choice of other meals on the menu too. Having said that, the men chose Roast Pork and my friend and I had the haddock and chips. All I can say is that both meals well exceeded expectations. Hard to explain but all I can say is please give this chef a try. He knows how to purchase fresh quality produce and also how to deliver the most sumptuous meal, we just could not fault.
