"I made a reservation through Opentable, but when we arrived, there was no record of it. They informed us that they don't work with Opentable. Fortunately, we didn’t have any trouble getting a table. All four of us ordered the three-meat meal, which was supposed to include beef, turkey, and pork. We received beef that was tough and filled with gristle (our dog enjoyed it when we got home), turkey, and gammon instead of pork. The meal was lukewarm, and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked. The dessert was decent, especially the apple pie with custard served as a mini dessert alongside coffee. However, my friends ordered the Banoffee pie, and were disappointed by the very small portion they received."

I made a reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived, they claimed they didn't work with OpenTable and had no record of our booking. Fortunately, we were able to get a table without any issues. All four of us ordered the three-meat dish that was advertised as containing brisket, turkey, and pork. Instead, we received brisket (which was tough and filled with gristle—my dog enjoyed it when we got home), turkey, and gammon. The meal was served lukewarm, and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked. For dessert, we ordered the mini apple cake and custard with coffee, which was enjoyable. My friends had the banoffee pie, but the portion was quite small.

"We have always enjoyed coming here for a coffee during the summer months , but unfortunately today we had really poor service. We came in just for morning coffee. The place was around 60 65% full. It took 10/ 15 minutes for our order to be taken then a further 20/25 minutes to receive a coffee each. When checking how long it would be the server apologised and said she would check this then took a further 6 minutes to get the coffee. At this point she told us apparently the order had only been put through 11 minutes ago. Which means whoever took our order didn’t bother putting it through for quite some time. The only positive to the visit was the till assistant at the end who was really polite and friendly. just to add that in this time other people had been/eaten and left."

"my man and I recently visited this curry house. we have not been through new possessions since the takeover. it was really a big disappointment. eating was bad, we would give it, I am trying to say something positive about our experience tbh. the head. the curry was far too sweet, I picked up a few pieces of meat and left the sauce. naan brot was nothing to scream. the place was quite empty, so no atmosphere. we will definitely not think new."

"Made welcome straight away even though we were the only ones in. Very helpful in explaining what was what on the menu. I had a Sunday roast dinner and they even made me glutenfree Yorkshire puddings to go with the gravey. My better half had same but she required everything Lactose free. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recomend it to everyone and not too pricey in fact cheap enough to allow us to have a nice drink from a wide variety of choice. Highy Recomended By Us 5"

"Although we have not dined here yet, I am confident that the food will be excellent. They offer a good selection of drinks served by charming staff. The quiz night appears to be a hit, and they host live entertainment on some weekends. The pub has an authentic village style atmosphere. There is a large car park located behind the pub for easy parking. The pub is on the same level as the car park, making it easily accessible for wheelchair users. The price per person typically ranges from £10 to £20."

"Haven't been for a long time. Their menu online was very appealing. It got increasingly busy while I was there so it would be better to book at peak periods. Excellent food. I started with the pulled pork nachos which came with not one, not two but three different dips. Lovely. The waitress was running round and very busy but still treats everyone exceptionally. Main course was the steak sizzler with stir fried vegetables and peppercorn sauce with chips though I could have had rice. They also do a cajun chicken that was similar but I will have to go again for that. The steak sizzler was spot on. There was plenty of sauce. Really tasty. Really enjoyed my meal. Really appreciated the service. The waitress was nowhere to be seen when I left either running outside where they have more tables or collapsed in a heap in the kitchen breathing from an oxygen tank so she missed my grateful thanks on this occasion. Definitely worth another visit to sample more of the extensive menu"
