Fab as always. It would be nice to see the menu changed from time to time. Other than that outstanding customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouible.

Food is good here, pub is lovely and still feels like a traditional pub. Beers were limited and Moretti as expensive as I have ever found anywhere. Nice for a visit but won’t be my regular haunt.

Service was great and very friendly! Food was fantastic! Last minute decision to come and had never been before. Drove out the way to come here but was not disappointed and would recommend to anyone!

Very nice Sunday traditional lunch Roast Beef with all the trimmings and Vegetables including cauliflower cheese Beef cooked nicely and the carrots were a nice taste surprise! Excellent value and happy and friendly staff

Another successful 'mission ' to The Taveners Godshill for dinner. The service was excellent, the food superb. Plenty of choice for all on the menu. A fantastic, relaxing atmosphere. Suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Also dog friendly. Enjoy.

We had a great Sunday roast with homemade puds and a very warm welcome. Can’t fault the service or the food, really good value for money for locally produced meat with all the trimmings. What really impressed us was the interesting children’s menu, both daughters enjoyed muscles with toasted sourdough for dipping…. Much better than chicken nuggets and chips! Highly recommend for a family Sunday roast on a wet November day.

Lovely, charming decor, very friendly, helpful staff and the best Sunday roast I have had for years and years! Delicious! Thank you! I had the veggie tomato and herb polenta cake roast and every thing on my plate was excellent! Seriously 10 out of 10! Your chef is a gem! And what a great treat to have an unusual veggie option! My mum loved her fish and chips and I pinched a chip or two [of course I did] and they were superb! Had to write this rave review... you guys so deserve it!

Arrived seated at a table we weren’t happy with but no problem to move to another table Eventually a waitress came to the table for our drink order then our food order Food arrived but no drinks, when we asked were told our drink order wasn’t showing, could we re-order Food was good but roast was cold Table was cleared we waited for a dessert menu but didn’t appear Asked a waitress but still no menu, asked again but by then we’d had enough asked for the bill Wrong bill given to us had to ask for the correct bill Couples at other tables commented “you haven’t had much luck” How right they were Very disappointing as my Husbands Birthday wanted it to be special

Disappointing Christmas Day dinner. Felt compelled to write after reflection . On arrival was totally ignored. Then told our table wasn’t ready. After waiting 20minutes with nowhere to really wait as the taverners Was full to bursting . we were finally shown to a small table which was crammed in a corner, where there was a twig decoration which kept getting caught up in my hair , very uncomfortable. My husband was in a doorway, obviously not normally a table in this area. I feel The Taverners crammed as many people in , for financial gain. not what you expect for the price they charge for Christmas Day. Food was not great , not what we pre-ordered.
