The Ballymac - Menu

Stayed last night lovely please good staff but room was in stank wife fell sleep with sore head and ya dont even get a fry for breakfast toast and coffee most please do frys not really good for 70 pound

The food and service today was exceptional. All social distancing was exemplary and the cleanliness was as good as could ever be expected. We ate in the bar area and our food was brought out promptly, was hot and cooked perfectly We will be coming back

Food was very nice , pitty about the staff !!! On top of you , constantly standing over the table , when handed food was asked 3 times was the food ok in the space of 10 mins, soon as you put your fork down they dive on top of you to take the plates away , approached the manager ciaran , his face said it all , basically made an excuse because one of our orders where wrong that, they done it out of kindness , felt very out of place and couldn’t enjoy the meal as staff members constantly staring !! As I said food was nice pity about the unwanted experience

We had Birthday dinner/party for my 80yr old mother on Friday 29 March. When we arrived in the afternoon to add the finishingtouches to the room, we were so pleased with the set up. We had 32 for the meal,the Ballymac's personalised menu just added to the special night. The food was excellent, vegetarians options delicious, desserts amazing. The staff could not have done any more to help us. They were courteous, pleasant, patient and just really professional. The Ballymac made a special 80th birthday even more special. Thank you so much Ballymac Hotel management and team.

Recently my Wife and I visited the Ballymac hotel for a meal in the Restaurant.The hotel was busy but when we visited the toilets at reception there was a sign up saying toilets not in use. We had to use the disabled toilet which was working!!After having some drinks in the seating area beside reception we went into the restaurant. My wife ordered fillet steak and I sirloin steak cooked medium with mash and chips and French Fried Onions! Both the steaks were undercooked and the mash and chips were very bland and tasteless!.I handed over £70 for this meal including bottle Wine!Will be in no hurry back!

Went to the Ballymac Hotel last Saturday for dinner with my family for my Sister's Birthday. It was very nice, the staff were kind and welcoming. We had our own room just for us. The staff couldnt do enough for us, the food and drinks were delicous and for what we paid was very reasonable. Really enjoyed by all the family and we are regulars to the Ballymac and with the Lockdown missed going up for our Dinner. The lovely staff knows us and always make you feel welcome, will defo be going back soon for dinner. It was an amazing afternoon spent in the Ballymac with brillant staff, gorgeous food and made to feel most welcome. Cant wait to go back.

Came here for dinner with family, two of us ordered the fillet steak (one medium, one well done) for £25 each, when they arrived my medium steak came with two large fillets and my dad's well done steak came with one fillet, butterflied, clearly half the quantity of steak he was supposed to get. We communicated this to the manager (male) who was extremely arrogant and rude and told us that we were wrong. The medium steak had not been rested before serving resulting in my plate being covered in blood, ruining my meal. Just returned home from Ballymac after having New Years Day dinner here. We called around 3pm to see if they have any availability between 5-6pm. They said they where so busy they squeezed us in at 6pm. When we arrived we stood in the bar for 5mins until they figured out what booking our room was in. They brought us in to the function room where they hire out for weddings. The place was empty and we were allocated a fold up table sitting in the middle of the dance floor which I already found very uncomfortable. When the food arrived I literally couldn’t believe what was sat in front of us 6 adults!! My dad ordered a steak which came on a plate on its own and a side bowl of frozen chips. Not...

If you are considering booking wedding and any special requirements is needed make sure they confirm by email or in writing As we spoke to Dena on a number of occasions about 2 extra beds in our bridal suite for our children, didnt put the beds in for them, when we asked about it the attitude from Jim was 'theres nothing we can do ' so we ended up home on the night of our wedding with 4 children in tears.
