Once again , poor welcome , rudeness and uninterested behaviour of owner /Manager , ignored at bar whilst locals coming in behind us were asked for their drink order first .. if you live in village you probably find it different ...

My wife and I went on Saturday for the first time, absolutely gorgeous food at a reasonable price It has a lovely atmosphere and great staff. Overall We would highly recommend Abbots Elm, and if the drink was a slightly better price £8.50 large wine eek! we would return more often.???? Go and enjoy.

Located in the English countryside, this pub offers beautiful rooms, a nice selection of drinks (in particular around fifty different whiskeys and excellent cuisine. We always reserve the family room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It is very spacious and has a very comfortable bathroom, and a small quiet space between the two. This time we paid 510 euros for 4 people and 3 nights with full English breakfast every morning. This seems perfectly reasonable to me. The food is really excellent, at fair prices, especially since children can enjoy the kids menu with no age limit. We had mussels, fish chips, veal liver, lamb kidneys, cheeseburgers... Everything was absolutely impeccable. The location...
