"Last year, we were at the Rossini festival in Bad Wildbad and visited Stuttgart for the Mercedes Museum and for the art museum. Between the two, we had a delightful lunch at Thai Thaani, so this year we had to return. We actually drove into the city with no difficulty and found street parking easily, practically in front of the restaurant. Thai Thaani is, looking at its menu, quite expensive in the evening, but for lunch they offer a generous selection of specials at really reasonable prices, in the area of 8 to 12 euros. The two of us divided three lunches: green curry salmon, red curry duck, and a tofu-and-veggie stir fry. All beautifully served with generous portions of rice. Thai Thaani has many more esoteric dishes which we hope to try next time. Soup was brought as a starter, and it wasn't the usual generic Thai soup but a really good spicy chicken vegetable affair. Coconut ice cream for dessert, served in its shell. Four Singhas washed everything down, especially as temps were in the 90s. The garden is a lovely place to eat and would be even lovelier without the many bees around. Next time, we might actually prefer the inside which is itself a most pleasant space."

Great food! It was worth it. If you want, you can sit on the floor. Very recommended.

The food, service, and ambiance were wonderful. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in Europe.

The food is delicious, exactly like in Tahiland the tastes are identical, bringing thai holidays to your mind. The staff is friendly. Prices are decent.

very good food, tasty, complex yet balanced, what can I say, it is exactly the way it should be in my opinion this Thai restaurant stands out from the rest in this city

The food took so much time like 1Hour plus until i get what i ordered. How can one enjoy the food when one need to wait so long until one lost the appetite already. The food was ok but i really dont recommend if anyone want to eat here.

Yum. We enjoyed a fabulous family dinner at Thai Thaani. I can recommend the pawpaw salad, Massaman curry, and pad Thai noodles. The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant provided menus translated into English. Overall the price was 'about right' for the standard we enjoyed.

We have visited twice. The papaya Salat is sour, very small portions and more carrots then papaya. Nobody’s food looked appealing in the restaurant. Very overpriced while understanding inflation. Would not go and recommend you don’t if you like Thai food. Service is slow, but waiter very friendly.

Visited this restaurant with friends and although it hadn't been our first choice at first it certainly could have been! The starters were just amazing, I had the vegetarian spring rolls with an amazing sweet sour sauce. There are numerous options for the main course and I will really need to come back several times to try more of them out. The duck slices with sweet and sour curry sauce was simply amazing! They also have some lovely wines here. The service is efficient and the waiters are friendly. I can't wait to come again!

We stopped in Stuttgart for dinner on a drive through Germany. Found Thai Thaani on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. We were very impressed by the food and service. There was initially a misunderstanding on the dishes ordered but they corrected and brought the right meals. The food was very nice and well presented. The level of spice was just right. The restaurant was fairly small and was busy. It was very warm inside which made it a bit uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly. If in Stuttgart again would return.

"Wow. Simply Awesome! Best dining experience my wife and I have had in several years, probably top all time, and we are real foodie snobs. They squeezed us in with only a couple hours notice. We got the course menu paired with wine....Little did we know that six courses in metric means First came the amouse bouse, a frothy chicken soup plus a croquette topped with dried mushrooms. Paired with wine of course. Then came a home made freshly baked baguette that was crazy delicious served with a dish of sour cream and chives as well as butter with pumpkin seeds. The bread was so good it could have been its own course, and the sour cream was the first of many unusual com I nations, but it worked. Next was a salad a combination of beet root, cabbage, Thai coconut milk and lemon grass. I hate beets and I loved this dish. Next wa the first actual course, duck liver pate and brioche with figs and wine sauce. Amazing! Now how about some slow cooked trout (which strongly resembled salmon) with tangerines and celery root. Then some white cod with Jerusalem artichokes and hazel nuts. Then, to cleanse the palate a glass of deer broth served in a glass like a brandy snifter. We're only halfway through. Now it's a slab of deer meat cooked like a tender steak, served with a cannelloni stuffed with deer and all set over mashed parsley root that could have passed as mashed potatoes. All garnished with an amazing deer gravy/sauce. Next comes some mont d'or cheese served with house made fruit bread, oranges, and rutabaga. Crazy com o but it was delicious. Now for dessert courses. Red wine sorbet. Think you're done? Next comes white chocolate ice cream serve with quince (purée, cubes, and foam) served with a chestnut parfait. Now we're stuffed, but time for another dessert: creme brulee paired with a chocolate brownie and a serving of mango mousse. Crazy good."
