"We were based in Bad Wildbad for the Rossini festival, but wanted to visit Stuttgart for the art museums and for the Mercedes Museum. We split it into two days. On one days, yesterday, we arrived in Stuttgart by train at about 11. From the main train station, we casually strolled north through the entire length of the Schlossgarten which ends just about at the Thai Thaani's front door! Couldn't have been more convenient, though we could have taken either the U1 or the U2 tram to get there as well. We were the first customers and were seated in the delightful outdoor garden. We're lucky we got there early, as by 1230 the outside was full, with many tables pre-reserved, and tables were beginning to be occupied inside, too. And this, on a Tuesday! Inexpensive lunch menu, with generously portioned dishes at around 8-12 euros. We decided that at those prices, the two of us could afford to have three dishes. We had duck in an interesting red curry sauce; green curry salmon, really good; and a fried tofu dish in a kind of basil sauce, also excellent, with good-quality tofu perfectly cooked. Germans simply don't eat spicy, and unless you ask, food will be "dumbed down". I like food spicy enough to cry when I eat. We asked for "almost Thai spicy", and that's what we got. Perfect. Not so spicy you couldn't taste the food, but quite spicy. With two Singhas, we paid a total of 39 euros. Not too bad. The regular a la carte menu is quite a bit more expensive, with main dishes between 18 and 23 euros. I think that 17 euros is wildly expensive for Pad Thai, for example!!!! But with care, I think one could construct a good complete dinner for about 35 euros per person. Charming, English-speaking staff. They could even do basic Italian!"

Fresh tasty food, awesome atmosphere, setting outside is wonderful, happy smiley staff. Ok portion, upper kinda class of Thai Restaurants. Hard to find parking.

Yum. We enjoyed a fabulous family dinner at Thai Thaani. I can recommend the pawpaw salad, Massaman curry, and pad Thai noodles. The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant provided menus translated into English. Overall the price was 'about right' for the standard we enjoyed.

Taken to this restaurant by a client who recommended the food. And he was not wrong.I ended up withe massaman (one of my favourites) which was delicious. Beautifully presented, flavoursome, plentiful. One of the best I have eaten anywhere.If you're in Stuttgart, like Thai food and have the time, spoil yourself! Voir le carte

We stopped in Stuttgart for dinner on a drive through Germany. Found Thai Thaani on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. We were very impressed by the food and service. There was initially a misunderstanding on the dishes ordered but they corrected and brought the right meals. The food was very nice and well presented. The level of spice was just right. The restaurant was fairly small and was busy. It was very warm inside which made it a bit uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly. If in Stuttgart again would return.

The food taste good, we tried pad thai shrimp, fried fish, starter for 2 persons and Som Tam papaya salad, Thai ice tea , our only disappointment was on the papaya salad that was way too expensive based on the size /proportion of papaya in it ( more expensive than at Lilly's in Basel Switzerland), it was more like a regular salad with a bit of papaya in it, decoration is ok but could be better, maybe the owner should visit Chada Thai in Freiburg area to get an idea of what we are used to in Sud Baden Württemberg/ Alsace region :)
