"It’s excellent food, it’s good portions and it’s a fair price too at this town centre place. I called on spec and ordered when I got there. One starter, and mains with a boiled and a fried rice It took minutes...as they deservedly were very busy. Although it’s advertised as Thai it also offers a limited Chinese food selection and my starter was more of nod to Chinese: wonderfully good, steamed, minced pork and prawn wantons with a tasty soy based dipping sauce. I got a vegetarian Thai red curry and it too was delicious with just the right amount of spice heat for me. Soi in Newry serves a better dish (only as it has potato tofu included too) but they won’t compromise on spice heat and I find their spice heat is the wrong side of pleasant for me. I also got a sweet sour chicken for my wife she’s not a big a Thai fan and it was actual, proper sweet sour sauce with a generous amount of red pepper and while you may ask ‘so what’ it’s very hard to find decent sweet sour in Newry. It’s been so long since we’ve had decent Chinese food. Better still the chicken was only chicken no potato starch batter in sight and the delightful fried rice wasn’t over glugged with cheap, nasty chemical soy sauce as it is in most Newry takeouts. There’s a simple fact and message here if you want quite good take out Chinese food (or fish chips for that matter) then don’t bother with Newry as the Chinese takeaways here are just barely mediocre at best and insultingly overpriced to make a very bad situation much worse and the cut for JustEat has to be added too. If you want good value Thai then it’s this place. Yes it’s a way to go for it but as it offers some good Chinese food too it’s worth it for me as I’m so sick overpaying for **** Chinese food and I’m not overly enamoured subsidising the JustEat racket either. New year and still a grumpy beggar."

If you need a fill up then a noodle or rice box is good. Also main meals there. I choose beef and veg in black bean sauce number standard box. Not a lot of black bean but good full box of tasty ingredients. Try...it.

Our favourite food on the planet !! Number combo with extra prawn and extra egg .. hot and a half ; My partner I have been coming here religiously for years now . We couldn't fault one thing about the...deliciously freshly cooked food or friendly service .

Delicious food every time. I have had sweet and sour chicken and peking chicken which is nice but by far the best dishes are the noodle ones. Pad Thai and spicy are amazing. You would know they take pride in their food and you...know it's always fresh. Staff always friendly too. Voir le carte

Tried this place for the first time last night, wanting some good food to eat picnic style at the local park. Really impressed by the warm and friendly welcome, the choice of food and the excellent value. I was warned that the Green Thai curry...was hot (and so it was) but very tasty too. Highly recommended.

Been a while since I got a carry out here.The chef is Chinese ,but wife of owner is Thai. Their food is good quality both Thai and Chinese. As well as starters and main meal take away,they do really filling Thai and Chinese dishes with...rice or noodles. It is clean and busy and reasonable prices. This time I had prawn red curry with boiled rice. Quite a few prawns and spicy ,with red and green peppers and peas. Good portion and I enjoyed it and can fully recommend.
