Tea,toast And Post - Menu

Not many options, but what I had was nice, Bruschetta with garlic oil, beautiful fresh leaf salad also.

There weren't many choices available but what I ordered was enjoyable - Bruschetta topped with Garlic Oil and a fresh leaf salad.

Not much choice in Robin Hoods Bay, so this was a happy find. Limited menu, but the staff was very accommodating and happy to customize an item on the menu to make it vegan/GF. Dog-friendly. Little café so early to grab a table.

When I visited, there appeared to be limited vegan options at the restaurant, with only tomato bruschetta available. There was no vegan butter for toast, but I did enjoy a pleasant orange blossom tea. It seems that the menu has not changed much, as it still mainly focuses on drinks. There are not many options in Robin Hood's Bay, so stumbling upon this restaurant was a fortunate discovery. Although the menu is limited, the staff were willing to accommodate dietary restrictions by making items vegan or gluten-free. The restaurant is dog-friendly and cozy, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a table.

This visit was only taken during Covid. This is just the street from the Bay Hotel so we ordered our food and sat outside the pub with a pint after a long walk from Whitby. Your lunch on Toast was not disappointed. Toast and huge blows. We ordered the two vegan options to share: tomatoes, onion and balsamikum, and then hummus and olives. Both delicious and very substantial!

It was great to see somewhere that vegan food options were clearly marked and oat milk, as the only other place we could find with vegetable milk (the tearooms) was soy milk. When I got my coffee, the milk had split. I went a long way when my husband got me and I realized I couldn't take it back. It is a fundamental lack to know how to deal with vegetable milk and not cold milk in boiling hot coffee or the opposite. Please warm up first!
