"We've eaten here before and always had a very good meal. Unfortunately, on this occasion we found the food not up to standard. The steak was overcooked, and just tasted wrong, (an offal taste), but we had already commented on the starters so were embarrassed to complain again, (no napkin, utensils). I know we should have mentioned it but the service was also very bad and they obviously had problems with staffing on the evening we went, so probably this is what caused the issues."

Just got a pizza which was nothing special quite an average one, they even make it better (or the same) at your corner pizza takeaway... so why bother? An average at its best.

Popular place with a reasonable menu. The pizzas and pastas were quite good but the escalopes of pork were dry and bland. The house wine was pleasant. Service was ok, prompt and friendly.

Stayed at a local hotel. Got very lucky and just walked in. Food was excellent. Had a delicious salad. Excellent. Staff really friendly. Very reasonable price. Totally recommend. One of the staff speaks very good English.

Dropped in for a late dinner. Everything booked. No problems! Come back in 10 and we'll have it solved. Had a fantastic dinner. Especially the board with local cold cuts was a huge success. PS. Try the sparkling red wine. New to us and great!

A beautiful day and we sat outside under the awning and had pizza. The crust was thin and the topping was magnicient, beer and wine wow this is the life. Plenty of choice in Salsomaggiore but steer clear of the obvious tourist traps this is genuine quality.

Excellent centrally positioned restaurant, the food and service was of a high standard and nothing was too much trouble. The price was most reasonable about €50 euros for shared starter (meat platter) 2 mains, 1 desert, litre of wine, water and café with a complementary limoncello
