Delicious food, good taste, restaurant atmosphere, very good vibe. Reservations are required, but if you're lucky, there might be a walk-in table. Spaghetti alle vongole is delicious. Wine is great. Tiramisu is great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely a must-do culinary experience if you go to Sorrento. We ate the house bruschettone (never eaten made that way) and it was delicious, not to mention the Sorrento gnocchi. I couldn't not eat them right there in Sorrento. Top welcome and kind waiters. We will absolutely be back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Will try to scam you into paying for additional menu items when you didn't order it and didn't want it. The waiter who does the scam is rude and I am fearful if he takes advantage of elderly/disabled people who may not recognize the additional charge. Additionally, paying 6 euro for a diet coke is crazy. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

If you are in Sorrento this is a must go. All the employees were super friendly, the owner would come around to each table and make sure you were enjoying your experience. Giuseppe and Tavern Allegra’s food was top knotch! Some of the amazing food that we had included the caprese ravioli, bolognese, and seafood ravioli. We also had an amazing bruschetta appetizer. Truly an unforgettable experience. Meal type: Dinner

*Warning for Recommended Sorrento Restaurant* WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE We went to TAVERN ALLEGRA in Sorrento. They will serve you a dish of seafood ravioli at the end of your dining experience. We expressed we did not ask for it many times- we don’t even like seafood ravioli. It came and we just moved it around the plate, thought it was a complimentary add on since we just got engaged. The Waiter CHARGED US, was very good rude, and wouldn’t remove it until we about walked out. DO NOT GO HERE! This is my only negative experience ever in Italy.

SCAM BE AWARE!!!!!!!! When we were ready to leave, they brought us hand wipes. I thought wow okay, sending us off with clean hands. Then the seafood ravioli was delivered. We told them we didn’t want it nor did we order it. The waiter said it’s fine, so we shuffled it around the plate as we aren’t really into seafood in order to appear not rude. Different waiter with the check comes, tells us we must pay since the plate has been touched. Fiancé argued with rude waiter. Didn’t remove the item from our bill until I said something about leaving bad reviews. Well here’s the review, sir ! BEWARE SCAM RESTAURANT
