Opa Taverna - Carte

Popped in for an early supper and had the early bird menu, delicious, I particularly enjoyed the beef stiffado, melt in the mouth. Would highly recommend but understand its been sold and will shortly be an(other) Italian, a great shame.

Had a fantastic meal here! Food was very authentic and delicious, atmosphere also really nice and staff were very friendly. I had feta in filo pastry with honey and almonds as a starter and chicken souvlaki as a main…both highly recommend!

We 19 people went there for dinner on our way from Cornwall to Leicester. They welcomed us with open arms even without pre bookin. Delicious food and very friendly staff made us feeling like home and even played Srilankan songs. Thank you and definitely visit once again if we come to Exeter in future. Voir le carte

Another excellent meal at this great place during a regular family visit. Simple but great tasting authentic Greek food in generous servings. Friendly and prompt but never rushed service. Would particularly recommend the baked feta/honey starter and the Lamb souvlaki. All this at a very reasonable price, so a definite 10/10.

wow, if they want to be the authentic, not arrogant, this is the true taste of the medium sea. a very varied selection of wonderfully cooked foods and feeds, which the chef obviously takes a lot of pride. the service was very friendly and efficient, which made a special evening even better. highly recommended without reservations.

friendly service, meat was top quality and boiled to perfection. can not wait to come back and try more from this menu. A must visit authentic Mediterranean restaurant, with Greek inspired decor, where the food they serve is prepared with both skill passion. As I'm also gluten intolerant I was delighted I could eat several of the homemade dishes including the Calamari and deep fried Halloumi as they use a cornflour/rice flour combination for their batter, It was light and delicious. I definitely recommend you try this amazing place, it's a real gem and the owners are lovely.

what a great restaurant and beautiful staff. I ordered the garlic mushrooms and moussaka, and it was great. Although I burned my mouth, as it was so hot, but I just wanted to eat it! the chef even made a chat and see how we liked to eat it. it was quite empty when we were there, but that was because everyone who had booked did not show up and had not even called to let the owners know what we thought was extremely rude and felt so sorry for them. it doesn't take much to pick up a phone. I just hope that opa is still there when I visit my family next year so I can take my husband. I recommend this restaurant.

this is a must visit restaurant when in exeter. If we were approaching, we would be a parent. the food and service is excellent. the biggest problem is to decide what to start, so we have ordered more than one and divided like a meze. its friendly atmosphere and freshly cooked and prepared eating seems really through, and in contrast to some larger chains they feel welcome and their use is appreciated and appreciated. when they go early, I think, before 6.30 a.m. they get a 20% discount, which made it excellent worth for money, but if they later value its still great, as the portions are very generous. to be fair, all smaller appetite would go best for children portioning.
