Tap And Railway Pub

This restaurant is very clean with friendly staff and fast service. I highly recommend it as it has become my favorite local spot to take my family to play darts, pool, and have a meal.

Quick lunch with my son, the Tap used to be an old haunt for my Dad. Son is very diet concious so had Hunter’s Chicken, I had the Pulled Mushroom chilli, meal bill was £13:49! Really good!

This pub and restaurant is fantastic. I can't recommend it enough. The staff is lovely and the food is delicious. The steak is consistently great and their roast dinners are superb. The desserts are also delightful. Voir le carte

Went for lunch with the wife and eldest daughter... friendly staff.. great service .. had food and drinks .. £5 lunch offer bargin .. fresh veggies .. cricket on.. played darts .. perfect couple of hours highly recommended

Our favourite pub, lovely choice of food and prices very competitive. I went with my husband and daughter. 3 cleared plates. Wanted some changes to listed item, no problems the staff could not have been more helpful. Will be back again soon.

Can't recommend it high enough, put it this way, I drove over 160 miles to dine here and it never disappoints, absolutely perfect, my absolute favourite restaurant in Dorset, we were staying overnight outside Bournemouth but we still preferred driving to this restaurant as its top notch, caters for everyone, the staff are amazing nothing too much trouble , we'll done Voir le carte

This pub is our go to place for a meal out in our area. They are so helpful and will always try and accommodate any changes you may need to anything you are ordering. As always 3 cleared plates 3 very happy customers. Some of the changes Greene King have made to the menus are perhaps more suited to a city pub but otherwise can't fault the Tap. Looking forward to our next visit .

A great place for food and drinks, from lunch right through to dinner and evening. Has sports evenings and can be supplemented with a game of darts or pool. There is also a large garden area with ample seating and undercover areas, plus a children’s area to play! The staff are very friendly and very professional with drinks and food service! Great selection of drinks and the food is very good especially the bucket of chicken wings!!

The cozy pub we visited had delicious food and a lovely beer garden where we sat for a perfect little treat. The staff were friendly and Nan especially enjoyed her fish, describing it as the perfect ratio of fish to batter. She loved how thin and well-cooked the batter was, unlike some places where there is "all batter, no fish." Overall, we had a perfect experience and enjoyed the vibes of the background music playing.
