"Utterly dreadful. We had the rare beef salad (inedible, meat from cheap cut), two pad krapow (measly portions merely bigger than a starter) and one chicken curry soup (had hardly any chicken in and arrived after the other three diners had fully finished their meals). Chef clearly out of his depth, serving staff apologetic but really really disappointing experience. I’ve seen this before, it’s the beginning of the end for a restaurant that was good in the past but just isn’t worth it anymore. Wagamamas is a step up from this garbage."

It’s been about five years since I last went and now I can’t wait to go back. Their edamame beans are the best I ever had! I had the chicken krapow which was excellent. My daughter had the vegan katsu curry and she really enjoyed it. We both had the happy hour cocktail which was excellent. Staff were very attentive.

Overall the meal was great lovely intimate setting great for a catch-up. Our server Hollie was so friendly and helpful and service was really fast the food was lush everybody had an amazing experience. My only note was that my dish (the red thai noodles) was a little smaller than I expected but this was the exception all the other plates were bursting with lush well cooked food.

We had a wonderful experience at Tampopo. Our servers, Mike and Phoebe, were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and packed with flavor. We ordered the Thai Green Curry with Prawns, Thai Red Curry with Rump Steak, and Pad Thai with Prawns, all of which were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend them. The Caramel Churros were a fantastic way to finish off our meal with something sweet. Tampopo is a perfect spot for a pre-theatre dinner, just a 10-minute walk from the Palace Theatre on Oxford Road.

We went for a meal before a concert. We arrived early, so the restaurant was quiet, but the staff still made us feel welcome and created a warm and fun atmosphere. Hollie seated us at our table and was friendly and courteous without being intrusive. The food from the Christmas menu (no turkey in sight) was delivered quickly and was very good. The dishes had fresh and distinct flavors, and the cocktails and wine were flavorful as well. Thank you, Hollie, for a perfect start to a wonderful evening. We appreciate it very much.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
