Too noisy and poor food for the price . Piles of chips but main meal was pretty tasteless. Perhaps we caught it at a very busy time but we were very disappointed

Poor poor poor. Please do not eat here. Overpriced and poorly cooked. If I had done my homework we would not have eaten here. My choice, the Lasagne, absolute no no.

Awful food so overpriced! The place stinks it's very unkempt! The menu promises home cooked food pull the other one! Cheap alternatives from a chef with no pride! Not recommended! Voir le carte

This restaurant is a great spot to visit no matter the weather. We enjoyed the spacious layout of the bar and the inviting atmosphere created by the fire. We highly recommend trying the Sunday roast as well!

The beer was expensive, the food was poorly cooked and presented, and the service was negligent. I recently found out that the restaurant has a hygiene rating of 1 out of 5 in the local paper. I will never be returning.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Simply put this pub has been dragged from the 80’s and hasn’t been cleaned since then either. Stainless steel toilet pan and string smell of urine in the toilet screams ROTTEN despite their apparent good food hygiene rating. I could list multiple failures but it’s easier to just say DONT..!! For lunch, we opted for the basket meals which were priced at £8.50 each with a choice of four options. The portions were very generous and made for a satisfying midday snack. Our friends ordered from the main menu and also received large portions of delicious food. The prices for beer and cider were reasonable, and our drinks arrived promptly. The outdoor seating area was pleasant, although the interior of the pub and the toilets seemed a bit outdated. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

We had the worst meal we have ever had in this place and it wasn't cheap either. I ordered a chicken burger and it came, 50 minutes later, on a plate which had a huge amount of grey, pallid, soggy, inedible chips I had to wonder how anyone could actually achieve the colour of them with some side salad and a burger in a completely black bun. When I asked about this, I was told that it was charcoaled. There was nothing on the menu to indicate that the bread rolls were black, or charcoaled their word for it . We were very disappointed with the food we received at this pub, this evening. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the burger. The meals are very over priced for what you reserve. My fish was terrible, I went to cut into it and loads of grease just came running out of it all over the plate and table. There wasn't much fish, just full off batter. The fish was also very over cooked! The chips tasted like they had been cooked about 3 times, in a deep fat fryer. Very greasy, dry and not much taste. My partners burger was very odd.
