My family and I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant today after a lovely walk in Sidney woods. They warmly welcomed us and our two Labradors, and the food was exquisite. I especially loved the onion soup. Overall, we rated the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. Voir le carte

Everything an old English pub should be. Lovely old building with exposed beams log burner. Beautiful setting with tables on lawn out the front. Fantastic choice of ales and larger. Brilliant varied menu for all with specials. I had venison but wanted just about everything. delicious! finally staff were so friendly and welcoming. 5 stars guys. Keep it up! The Sun is very much a ‘local’. It is a basic, simple pub. The staff are pleasant. The food menu is more interesting than most and you will get 2-3 new dishes to try each visit. In my experience the quality varies but I really appreciate the effort to produce something new and interesting. To start off with the building is beautiful, with exposed beams, an open fireplace and interesting decor. I was here for a Christmas dinner with my fianceé 's employers, the food was delicious, good portions and their Christmas menu was reasonably priced. I had beef short rib, it was cooked to perfection and just fell off the bone, followed by sticky toffee pudding which is one of the best I 've ever tasted.
