The food was tasty specially the sushi however the restaurant itself was untidy and honestly looked like a storage area. A little pricey.

Quite authentic. No frills just great food,nice pleasant service. Easy to over order as bigger portions than any Japanese street restaurant experienced before. Highly recommend and they do takeaway.

This is the best place to get sushi around here. They are very aware of all allergens and take it all very seriously. I have visited numerous occasions and I always get a very friendly service. They have an authentic oriental feel to the restaurant and have anime figures and posters in the entrance very highly recommend.

We always love dining at this restaurant whenever we are in the area. Whether it's for a date or a family meal, it never disappoints. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Our children also love the food here. We have been coming here for a few years now and it's always a treat to eat here. As of 2024, the food is still delicious. Yesterday, we had lunch at Sumo Sushi for the first time. The restaurant is small, which may be seen as a downside, but it actually adds to the traditional and authentic charm of the place. It has a cozy, family-run feel that makes you feel right at home. We tried a variety of sushi and gyoza, all of which were freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. The friendly service and family-friendly atmosphere added to the overall experience. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. We highly recommend Sumo Sushi and will definitely be returning in the future.

The food was alright, not outstandingly good for a Japanese restaurant. I have tried a lot better one in Suffolk in a better setting and cheaper price point. It is a takeaway add-on type restaurant which I did not expect to be too expensive. But when we got the bill, everyone at the table was surprised by 30% more than what is shown on the menu. We then noticed a 'polite notice ' on the wall saying 20% VAT not included and 10% service charge not included. We are fine with 10% service charge but it is against the law that not showing the actual paid price of the food anywhere in a restaurant, nothing on the iPad menu or the menu at the entrance.
