Spurriers House Cafe

I have been coming to the cafe now over a year on my daily walk in the park. The service is excellent, the food is fresh and hot and the coffees are delicious. I highly recommend this fantastic cafe

I love visiting here for my lunch a coffee on my own and with my support staff, the food here is great and the coffee is great too, it is in a good location at the Town park, the staff here are very friendly and very welcoming, the prices here are very reasonable and I will be coming here again.Thankyou to the staff. :

What a beautiful place spurriers cafe is and in stunning surroundings. Short waiting times and friendly staff.I bought myself a coffee and bacon bap and went and sat on a bench out in the paddocks,perfection!!!! The bacon bap was so tasty,that i had to go back and get a second lol. I would highly recommemd spurriers cafe. Top marks from me. Voir le carte

Lovely looking cafe in the park, nice building and setting. Painfully long wait for 2 lattes and what were meant to be 2 spiced chai lattes. The chai lattes were literally froth with a little slightly flavoured milk, glad we had the cinnamon on top as I imagine that was the flavour coming through. Would rather go thirsty than get another hot drink from there!

Disgusting cafe. We had a hotdog, chips and a scone, The scone came out oven baked and steaming hot which just tasted rank. It was explained that the scones are not fresh, they come in frozen. The hotdog looked microwaved and the chips we barely cooked which is surprising seems as it took 25 minutes to cook! Overpriced and slow. We will definitely not be returning!!

Attempted to visit this cafe for a late lunch. Waited for 20 minutes to get to the counter to be told the kitchen had closed because it was too busy. There was no signage to say food was not on sale and my poor 2 year old son was very hungry. The staff were sarcastic and rude to me. I will not visit again. A number of the comments below echo the fact the waits are very long which shows a pattern of behaviour. Voir le carte

Tuna and cheese panini. Totally soggy, no seasoning and cold in the middle. Im guessing microwaved..!! Coffee ok. If they cant do a panini dont hold much hope up for the other food. Also ordered a large chips a tiny box half full. Prices over the top. Needs a shake up big time. Better off sticking to the toby carvery just over the road..Considering this is their main competition I would be worried if I owned that place.

I visited this smart little cafe with my daughter while walking the dog in the park. We stopped off for a sandwich and a hot chocolate. As dogs are not allowed inside we stayed on the terrace which is nice. Inside is really smart and modern, and there is a room at the back with some tables. Staff were really friendly and service was good. Cakes on display looked amazing and all are made by the cafe. Prices were reasonable for the quality and facilities which included access for wheelchairs and buggies. We both had a sausage sandwich with hot chocolate with the extras on top. Perfect for a chilly day. Will definitely be back for more next time we're walking the dog.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had in a cafe, as I waited 45 mins for cheesy chips and paid £4.75 to which I had to chase 4 times for but was told they forgot about the chips in the microwave. Given the perfect location next to pets corner, you would have thought that service would be better but it seems as though it’s run by volunteers than actual paid staff who don’t really want to accomodate paying customers. To charge £12+ for pizzas, you’ll probably be waiting an hour for it to be cooked and then the cost of drinks is a bit of a joke. Yes, you’ve got inflation but provide a decent service if you’re going to be charging prices of that stature. Need to get their act together or t... Voir le carte
