"Spuds and Berries used to be one of our favourite spots for breakfast/lunch, seems the last couple of times it’s been a little disappointing, food still ok but just as good as other places serving similar menus. The first time we went, my partner asked if he could have scrambled egg instead of the fried egg, to which he was told no because it costs too much to make scrambled egg, he requested no egg but maybe an extra slice of bacon, his breakfast arrived absolutely piled with extra bacon, yet couldn’t have the scrambled egg because it was too costly? Today we went for breakfast, instead of asking for the scrambled egg, we asked if the egg in general could be replaced with a hash brown which was the exact same price as the egg on the ‘extras’ list, we was told no we wasn’t allowed to do that, it used to be allowed but became confusing for the chef when there was big tables… There was no big tables, in fact only 5 people in the whole place, 2 of them was us. As I work in a restaurant myself, I do understand there needs to be a line drawn somewhere but wow, talk about keeping the customers happy… definitely didn’t seem bothered about that at all, and this is no insult to the front of house, they’re only doing as they’re told. It’s sad to see you have got rid of the tea leaves and strainers with the pot of tea, that was always a nice touch, now just replaced by your bog standard tea bag. The breakfast it’s self was ok… not a great deal of seasoning on the full Yorkshire and the Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Royale was cold but other than that, it was edible. These may be really petty issues but they’re stuff that would personally make our eating out a much nicer experience, especially when things don’t come cheap. Safe to say, we won’t be returning now, I just hope one day it can back to a place it once was."

Gorgeous coffee and amazing produce in the farm shop. We had a fantastic barbecue and loved everything we bought. Lucky find for us as we came for the dog park

The BEST Sunday lunch anywhere! I've been with my partner and various friends numerous times on different days, and always had excellent meals. Looking forward to our next visit. The farm shop is also very good, lots of fresh produce and lots to look at.

Excellent 3 course meal offer for £20. Friendly service too. Only downside it was rather noisy. Starters included basil and tomato soup, garlic mushrooms with mains haddock and chips, burgers, chicken breast plus, Eton mess, sticky toffee pud, baked cheesecake plus all beautifully presented.

We feel very lucky to have this restaurant close by and really enjoy visiting. The quality of the food is excellent. On Fridays, they have a 3 course menu for £20 which is excellent value. The staff are always friendly and the chef listens to the customer. I thoroughly recommend Spuds ‘n Berries. Voir le carte

I ate at this restaurant on Friday, trying out the £20 3 course menu. The food was always amazing, the staff were great, and I highly recommend booking a table here. It's essential to make a reservation in advance as they tend to fill up quickly. This was my fourth visit and I will definitely be back again.

My wife and I have made this restaurant one of our favorites. The food is always excellent and the staff is warm and welcoming. We recently tried their Friday evening special (3 courses for £20) and we were not disappointed. We also highly recommend their traditional Sunday lunch. I'll never be able to stay slim with all the delicious food here!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic and offered great value for the price. We took advantage of the Friday night special, which was 3 courses for £20. The special menu had a good variety of options to choose from. We were dining with another couple and each enjoyed a different starter, all of which were beautifully presented, served promptly, and tasted delicious. The mains were just as impressive, especially the beef bourguignon, which was served with onion mash, mixed green vegetables, and a flavorful sauce made with shallots, mushrooms, and beef. So noisy in there; it was pretty full of guests and busy but not a relaxed atmosphere at all, people talking at the tops of their voices and more!! After a decent main, I chose the cheesecake for dessert. It tasted stale and was very soggy. The tall blonde-haired staff member came over, as she 'd noticed me grimacing at my food. She asked me if everything was alright and I told her I wasn 't happy with the dessert and her retort in broad Yorkshire, was, (yes, you 've guessed it, that old chestnut, wait for it, you 've heard it before ! I stopped in at the cafe while out on a bike ride, the member of staff who approached me first was quite rude, looked me up and down and said 'We 're clearing up now '. It was a hot day, so I said, 'a cup of tea would be ok ', and that I 'd sit outside. Her facial expression was of detecting a bad smell. Anyway, I sat outside, a cup of tea was brought, and I came inside to pay on leaving.
