"As you know, we celebrate the festivals as they fall, and if there are no festivals, there is always a reason to go to the local gastronomy. Today once again a meeting with our Bautzner friends was in the series, which we had unfortunately not seen for a long time due to work. Our children went to a holiday camp many years ago, and they understood so beautifully that we, as families, met very often afterwards, and a friendship that has now developed for many years. So I went to Bautzen with the wife and the big daughter. We left the choice of gastronomy to our friends, as there are relatively many restaurants with beer gardens in Bautzen, because a beer garden was of course necessary in this summer weather. Restaurant Spreeblick Bautzen So much her choice of the restaurant Spreeblick, which we visited many years ago. It lies below the great bridge of peace directly on the Spreeufer. You're here in the middle of town, but far away from hustle and traffic noise. Only the tatütata of the rescue vehicles on the bridge will then sound down here. A narrow alley leads from above to the Spreeblick, and with some luck you can also get rid of your mobile base here. We put our vehicle in the garage of the nearby Kornmarktcenter, and enjoyed the walk through the beautiful Bautzner old town to the restaurant. The beer garden of the restaurant, which also operates a larger pension, is located on the back of the building, and by a large arch you finally get there. Walk to the beer garden View to the restaurant Here so close to the water the meadow is still green, and the air is more pleasant and fresher than above in the city. The beer garden is equipped with many rustic, heavy wooden tables and benches. On the benches are parat for the delicate Popo ́s thick seat cushions. Large parasols keep the hot sun rays away, in the background the sprinkles gently. It can be stopped here. In the rear area of the beer garden there are two large wooden huts, similar to a snack. Here you should place your order and pay immediately, the dishes will be brought to the table later. On the tables are also small boxes with a barcode on them, and from a minimum order value of 35 euros, you can scan this code and order it comfortably from the table. Changes in food are not possible. Personally superfluous. The menu is shown as a large table top. A limited offer from the restaurant kitchen as well as specialties from the grill is suggested here. On the back you can find the various drinks offered. After we had studied the card for a long time, and now the beer sausage widened, we had to go to this kiosk, and there it was called. a service takes up orders and collects, a second brings the drinks more or less quickly into the glasses, a third service power takes care of the small dishes. The main dishes are still prepared in the restaurant kitchen. These are then brought to the tables by further service personnel, even the empty plates and glasses are picked up from them. For me a relatively incomprehensible procedere. I'd like to have an operation at the table. After some time we were finally in line, and so we were able to announce our wishes at the snack bar stand. As drinks we had this: · 1x 0.5ér house-fried beer from the Franconian land barley for 5,30 € · 1x 0.5ér Coca Cola Zero for 4,80 € · 1x 0.2ér Meißner Winzerschoppen for 5,90 € As starter: · 1x deftige Soljanka with toast and cream bonnet for 6,00 € As main dish: · 2x After these were in the glasses, we were able to get back to our shady spot on the Spree. Here we could finally enjoy our freshly tapped at summer temperatures. Drink selection And this really tastes here. Since 2006 the restaurant has a second leg with the “Frenzel-Bräu” brewery. And there you are brave and try the various creations. Be it a peppercake beer for the winter peppercake market with us in Pulsnitz, a cucumber beer for the Spreewald or even a mustard beer for the Senfstadt Bautzen. It's all safe, but I don't think so. I had the Franconian land barley here today, later the Pilsener, a light, a dark and the last rest of the maib in the glass. And yes, these beers taste sweet and delicious. The small house brewery is also known for this. The first beer was almost evaporated when the Soljanka was at the table after just 5 minutes. As I said, the food is delivered. However, the young service power still has to practice running with soup a bit, because the Soljanka had been swapped to the edge almost up, that was close. deftige Soljanka with toast and cream bonnet At first glance the Soljanka also looked very good, but swept plenty of sausage strips in this dark soup. The cream bonnet had almost disappeared, whether the heat or the swing of the terrines. Soljanka The Soljanka itself was very spicy and pleasantly sharp, but the sauce was simply too thin and watery. Here I would have liked a thicker and more ally sauce. Whether the sharpness and wort is being worked with flavor enhancers, I cannot say. I found that there were three slices of fresh, bright baguette instead of the toast. Knappe 10 minutes later, I was just finished with the Soljanka, then our main dishes were already at the table. Well, that was fixed. It's too fixed. My two girls, had shot themselves on the brewer's carving, but the Rahmchampignons had already selected in advance, as the suspicion of finished convenience goods was very high here. Stutzig made us even during the order that on our question whether the scavengers should not be seasoned with pepper, in response to the fact that one would not have any influence on it, which would have been finished. So that was the salad supplement? Well. Whether fresh or convenience is difficult to say, as a gastro-size trade we know is just as good as it is. And the brewer's carving wasn't what it was. Instead of a proper crust with Semmelbröselpanade there was a panade of sesame, cornflakes and what I know for funny stuff. To make the meat fry, and small. Every Braumeister would have thrown that to the chef. The Remoulade, for what is actually done, was glazed and just as nothing tastes the pale pommes or the carving. My girls were more than disappointed, and I'm very happy that I didn't choose the carving. Brauerschnitzel without Rahmchampignons but with Remoulade, Steakpommes and Salatbeilage In contrast to my girls, I was really lucky. Three big ribs stacked on my plate. Much meat on it and fried nicely dark. That they were prepared outside on the grill I did not notice, but the grill is also easily around the corner. fresh from the grill: grill rib with grill sauce and potato salad As usual in the Upper Lusatian, the ribs were actually cooked, which were then fried properly. Therefore, I personally lacked the BBQ wort, as it is common with grill ribs nowadays. In the end, the included dip did not fit the ribs, because it was more like a mixture of sweet chilli sauce and Ajvar. The potato salad was, however, really good. Similarly, my wife also makes him, potatoes, green cucumber and a little light mayonnaise. A really nice, light summer potato salad. Also with me the salad dress as a salad dress. On the whole, I had the best food at the table and was really happy up to the wort at the ribs. fresh from the grill: grill rib with grill sauce and potato salad The two ladies of our friends had opted for the chicken breast with fried mushrooms, croquettes and salad dress for €17.90. Again, the croquettes pale, the meat dry and quite small. Here the whole food, like my two girls, was actually 100 from Convenience. Our friend, when he came a little later, and saw the misery at the table, finally decided for the steaks of the grill. He chose bread for it. However, his face was also quite long, as besides the two small pig neck steaks, besides the usual salad dress, there were three slices of bread, barely large than a baguette slice. And all this for 14.80 €. Frenzel Bräu Pils and Maibock Luckily they can at least beer here, and then the one and the other half of the evening went down the throat. There was a nice evening again, but the next meeting, where at least there should be something to eat, will probably take place in another Bautzner gastronomy. Our conclusion: we left €88.90 in the beer garden of the restaurant "Spreeblick" in Bautzen. For us, much too much convenience is clearly used here, which we expect from such a pub clearly different. The ambience is very good, the beer too. But already the staff is overwhelmed, the food up to the ribs leaves much to be desired."

my rough pumice with rough pumice tasted very good. I had home brewed beer. delicious! first a pils, then a must-honey beer. a great homey atmosphere. very good prices.

The atmosphere and location with the beer garden near the Spree is beautiful. Food quality is average, the children pasta was too fat (pan fried? . We ordered a salad without pepper, brought them twice to get it right. Service was a bit grumpy: head waiter... constantly owed subordinate to make it wrong. Beer was delicious and recommended.

"I had threatened it in winter, I'd come back, and I'm not just going to dinner, but also food. That has happened. After a little dexterity while checking in (we took their reservation out of the system this morning..... I got a room, just what I had during the first visit in winter, and went back to condition after exhausting hours of work in CZ and the drive to the hotel with which I could enter the restaurant. The entire ambience of the rooms over all other rooms really makes joy and is designed with great love. The guest rooms of the restaurant Wolfgang 's are not hanging behind, on the front of the street the old pharmacies with some of the old furnishings, where also very neat (no buffet breakfast is served), towards the back adjoining guest rooms to the reception in the rear part of the building. All this makes a very well-maintained impression and at least in the gastronomic facilities in Bautzen, which I have met so far, is looking for his same. The guest room, fabric-served, good cutlery and neat glasswork are presented on the tables. I was fluctuating, in the beautiful guest room, or in a beautiful summer evening on the somewhat casually designed terrace? As always with me won outside in beautiful weather! So the young lady in the service informed accordingly and shortly later the table presented itself outside in a similar condition as the tables inside. The cards came and I first ordered a glass of pils, the local Landskron beer is presented. I had already found the card very pleasant during my first visit. Now I finally had the opportunity to see if what was so tempting would be served as well. I read, I read and remembered a conversation with Mr Borgi about the more creative appetizers in some restaurants compared to main dishes and asked if it was possible to choose courses only from the appetizers, no problem was the pleasant answer. A wine from Deidesheim immediately smiled at me from the wine list. I don't need to order a Riesling who sat down with bone, but I was alone! Year 2016 by Reichsrat von Buhl: Fully fermented with 1.1 g residual sugar per liter, that was a crisp announcement. Light 12 alcohol announced the label when I tasted. This was a really good drop from the Palatinate, for which the card called under 30 EUR. He was allowed to stay, and after years of scepticism to the new cellar master at RrvB since 2014 (the 2011 GG Riesling Pechstein from this house is still one of the best Rieslings that I tasted in my life now come back to Weinstraße 18 to taste the wines. I don't quite understand the label design, nor does it find it tasteful, it reminds of an artist who likes to taste skulls with diamonds......but maybe two colleagues from Ingolstadt will like it, and you have to drink this wine while stretching point and little finger? I don't know...... the content was a good companion through the evening and my menu selection. I started with Tatar from the dried tomato watchdog Cornichon's Shallots Capers Basilikum Optisch again very temptingly presented, offered itself a classic tartar, including watchdog on top of the tartar. A flower on it, basil on the chopped dried (before taken from the oil tomatoes, the plate had various aromas, capers, cucumbers, scarf, garlic and parsley. I had ordered it because I found this combination quite unusual and tempted me to find out what the kitchen would serve there. So I had ordered Burrata with Pfifferlingen cherry tomatoes pine kernels wild herbs Was it what I had imagined? I don't know exactly, the sight was that of a colourful summer salad. And there was also meat here, the plucked puffs were fried classically with bacon and onions. In addition to the salad, delicious and the cream-filled mozzarella. And at the expense of Burrata I was in doubts, it was definitely buffalo mozzarella, yes, but there was missing the typical liquid filling with cream running out when cutting the mozzarella. It wasn't a burrata that was a good buffalo mozzarella! A bit of label dizziness was that, careful questioning at the young service lady revealed that this had no knowledge of the fine distinctions in the Italian cheese preparation. I stayed still, even with Mozzarella this was a delicious plate! I had left myself open to order a dessert, and these 3 courses were so dimensioned that a dessert was still possible. I would have liked to have had cheese, but unfortunately there was not on the map, so asked for the surprises, the answer was: I do not betray, they must be surprised, two thirds are class, one third was not so convincing the honestly disarming answer! But now it was curious that plus an espresso please. So the coffee came to the table with the dessert surprise. From left to right this was a very good homemade sorbet, a yoghurt mousse with apple and a chocolate sauce with a bowl of white chocolate. On the left and right tasty, the middle was the not so convincing third, found in the briefing of the dessert with the service in the aftertaste, which really lacked apple aroma. This was also thanks to my selection for dinner at Wolfgang 's at the moment Hotel in Bautzen. And on the whole, I was happy with a few smaller hookers at the dishes. A glass of Riesling was still in the bottle. On such a summer evening you just stay a bit, enjoy life and good wine! The two young ladies in the service on my visit night did their job without any problems and screwed him up with facing kindness. The unusual menu setup followed immediate cover for several courses, between the courses the satisfaction and the desired waiting period was asked, very nice. And it always remains time for a friendly smile and a few words for the lonely guest alone at his table. So I can come to the conclusion, a really nice ambience in the whole hotel prepares the guest joy, the kitchen is creative and stays in their performance within the scope of the upscale claim of the house. Clear recommendation if you want to eat well in Bautzen."
