Spice Lounge - Carte

We eat here both in the restaurant and for take a ways. The food is authentic, flavoursome and good value. My fav is the king prawn madras, but equally the chicken jalfrezi. The staff are very attentive. Would highly recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious. I went for Happy Night on a Wednesday and left feeling very satisfied. The food was tasty and well worth the price. We decided to try something new and were not disappointed. I definitely plan on returning. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very attentive.

We had a takeaway from spice lounge which was very mediocre and the tikka masala in particular was really tasteless. However we thought we would try a sit in meal now they are open, and were pleasantly surprised. The bengal chicken was particularly tasty and the staff were very firnddly and attentive. I visited this restaurant with my family on Wednesday. We ate from the happy meal menu. The food was cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the nann bread!!! The staff were friendly and the drinks were flowing without any wait times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also I have visited on many occasions the Sunday buffet.

Very lovely family run business , very attentive staff who ensured we were having a lovely time . Food was promptly ordered and cooked to order also stated on the menu . Very impressed with service times and also quantity aswell as quality of the food . Absolutely delicious currys , best we have had for a long time . Will definitely return . On September 2nd, my husband celebrated his 80th birthday at Spice Lounge with 16 family and friends. We provided our order ahead of time and had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to bring in our own cake to decorate beforehand and even put candles on it and brought it out at the perfect moment. Everyone had a wonderful time. Voir le carte

From outside the restaurant looked very run down and tatty but seeing reviews thought it would be good, how wrong we were! We were asked if we were local but said no from then on the service dropped through the floor. We ordered Chicken Korma was so chewy we thought we would get lock jaw , the food was not kept hot for more than minutes. The worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to in over 40 years. The place was empty apart from 1 table I wonder why! I would not recommend, interesting to see the last 5 star reviews were from locals.

I am local in the village and the past 2 takeaway curries we have had from here have been terrible … Overpriced and the taste was simply just salt , added to this only a few pieces of meat and half filled containers .. I am not the only local who has been saying how much this restaurant has gone down hill therefore, I felt compelled to write this review.. We are now going out of the village for our curries ! please sack the chef or teach him how to cook the Great Britain Indian curry, come on guys you must no !! Let’s get it back to what it used to be !

I had never heard of this restaurant before, but my dad took me, my fiancé, and son for a meal. It is a large, clean restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff who are helpful and polite. Our drinks and starters were brought to us promptly, which was great. Even my two-year-old son enjoyed the popadoms. I tried a tawa dish for the first time and it was delicious, with succulent meat and great flavors. All the food was exceptional in my opinion, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were attentive in serving customers and meeting their needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, as we plan to make it our regular dining spot no... Voir le carte
