"Well, with two little Idly loving kids in tow, we were quite hungry by the time we came down from Titlis.. we checked out the restaurant on top but nothing seemed appetising. As soon as we spotted Spice Bistro, we headed towards it. The Menu is limited but really nice.. service is cut and quick, ambience is nice.We ordered 2 plates of Idly, one fried rice, pav bhaji and two cups of masala chai.Idly was good with a light spicy chutney perfect for kids, fried rice quantity was filling and bhaji was really tasty! All this at 47 francs. Fully satisfied tummies!Crave Indian street food? Best place is Spice Bistro.Best one in Europe until now!"

Great place for a quick Indian bite. Food is excellent and tasty. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. If you like Indian cuisine, give it a go you won't regret it. I can highly recommend.

Was able to spend a bit of time here whilst waiting for family visiting the top of the mountain. The manager and staff were awesome with great service. Masala chai and Pav Bhaji hit the spot. Would recommend highly

This was the only place that served surprisingly tasty Vada Pav in switzerland. We tried pav bhaji and samosa also but Vada pav along with the dry chutney was the best. The prices are slightly higher but than everything is costly in Switzerland. Must visit.

I am an Indian settled in US and stopped by this place during our family trip to Swiss. Ordered veg fried rice and chilly chicken, to my biggest surprise, they served chilli chicken in a liquid form (it looked like sweet and sour soup) and when I asked they answered that is how chilli chicken would be served. Total lack of hospitality, cheating and very quality food.

Mind blowing samosa(veg n non veg) and chutney. Authentic taste. Crispy chicken/fish stripes with french fries was also good. Quantity is little more than enough for one person. Two person can also eat. Chai is 3/5 for me. Veg fried rice 4/5. Extra sauce/mayonnaise is free. Extremely polite behaviour and service. Danesh bhai from Mumbai at the counter os the guy. Happy me.

Surprised initially to find an Indian self-service snack restaurant run by indiand at the base of mount Titlis, but then every 2nd tourist there seemed to be Indian so a no brainer really. Had good options including idli, chai, tea, noodles, samosa, vada. No card payment if purchase is under EUR 20 so snacks at a premium really. But the location is right next to the cable car in Engelberg for Mt. Titlis.

I usually do not give bad reviews unless i find consistent bad behavior. I was observing this person who is shown in the cap who is possibly the owner. My son got stung by a bee inside his restaurant and he was not even telling us where the restroom was. And about the food, the less said the better. They re hesitant to give an extra styrofoam plate or even a tissue. Ridiculous. So much for promoting tourism who are their main source of income. Your money is well spent inside other restaurants. (not many, but you can order from the COOP supermarket and eat in your hotel room!).
