Southsea Coffee Co - Carte

We visited for breakfast this morning and were blown away. Beautiful little coffee shop, serving excellent coffee, delicious food and friendly customer service. We’re excited to have found such a gem and this will be our go to from now on. Keep up the good work!

Always busy inside it’s taken us a while to finally get around to popping in with a table being available. And it’s clear why!!! Fab drinks, awesome cakes and a real lovely indie vibe. We will certainly return. The salted caramel brownie, the blonde and the gingerbread were amazing. Loved it.

Best cheese toastie ever bit of a wait for food as they were busy, but goodness it was worth it. Three different cheeses, ham hock (optional extra), pickles and homemade brown sauce. Plus friendly staff, great coffee, and a busy takeaway counter too with delicious pastries. A great little find! Voir le carte

My girlfriend and I are here on a monthly basis, and always delighted by the delicious, fresh food, seasonal specials, and personal service. Running recommendations we vary across our visits for the avocado toast (not your ordinary avo toast! , honeycomb butter crumpets, banana bread, cornbread and grilled cheese.

This restaurant offers the best coffee you can find outside of Australia and is one of the few places that uses Bonsoy soy milk. They also serve delicious homemade preserves like Strawberry Vanilla and Apple jam, which are served with great gluten-free bread. The restaurant is completely friendly for those with celiac disease.

What I would say is book/ or it will be the first thing they will ask you as you enter, we managed to to get in, I do find it a little strange having to book to go into a coffee shop, feels like being back in Brighton. What I will say is they know what they are doing and they drinks we had seemed to be very well made. Well worth another visit. Voir le carte

This is fast becoming my favourite coffee shop in Southsea. Friendly, smiley and attentive staff, relaxed and chill decor, delicious food all made in house. The cake counter is mouthwatering!! Current must-have is the Banana Bread. If you like coffee, try the Hand Brewed Specials. It costs a bit more than a regular Americano but there's tasting notes on the menu. You really need to try this place!!

Happened upon this cafe a couple of days ago and had the “build your own sandwich” whereby you had a choice of four fillings from a great shortlist of ingredients in focaccia bread. Amazing sandwich and the cakes and coffee were delicious too. Service was prompt and welcoming. We were only in Portsmouth for a couple of days but visited twice it was that good. Great value only wished we lived nearer !

I have been around the World and am a fussy eater. The chef and team here are exceptional. If you like top quality food you will understand this part, the consistency of high quality is amazing. To bring out plate after plate at that level of standard and speed is something that is under appreciated. I admire the eggs florentine, the muffins are insanely good as is the balance of flavour and herbs to the eggs and sauce. This is now my regular sanctuary and I try to come atleast a couple times a month from 40 miles away to eat and relax here. That peanut and banana shake is unreal too! Voir le carte
