what a fucking hole, excuse my fucking flare. smells, dirty, service only terrible, eating is absolute catastrophe. I really freaked out. such a terrible coffee. never come back

The service at this restaurant is terrible! I purchased a coffee and tried to plug in my laptop, but was told that customers are not allowed to use the outlets because it uses up too much power.

Excellent brunch/coffee place. Friendly staff, eggy bread with avocado and bacon was delicious and good coffee too. Plus fast free WiFi and nice place to sit and watch the world go past with an excellent flat white! Voir le carte

I recently discovered Cumleys Coffee Shop, my new favorite local spot. I absolutely loved the great music, wonderful vibes, and comfy couches. The cappuccino had lots of foam, just like I like it, and the tasty pancakes with plentiful maple syrup were a dream come true. I could easily spend a whole day here, and I probably will.

My coffee was served lukewarm (below 40 degrees Celsius). When I mentioned this to the waiter, he responded by saying that coffee doesn't have to be hot and that I should have specified my preference beforehand. He brought me another coffee, but it was served in a careless manner. The service was overall disappointing. Additionally, there were several rules posted on the tables such as restrictions on laptop use during certain hours. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.

I know the café wants to maximise space usage, so today I joined a table with a woman at table of 4, who had a baby in a pram beside her. The place was otherwise packed. The manager told me that I had to move as the table was for groups. I explained that I joined the group, where the seat was empty. The waitress told me that because I came in by myself, I had to move to the single person section. The fact the cafe has a section explicitly for people who come in by themselves on the weekend which the waitress told me repeatedly is a policy is outrageous. I love coming here for a big breakfast nearby my house after a heavy one the night before. It's laid back, you can spread your papers out or read a book on the sofa or get stuck into a lovely fry up... Fat, hearty sausages are balanced precariously on thick slices of crusty toast. The yolk from my fried egg wobbles and I put it out of its misery with a wedge of said toast- delicious. The tiny pot of baked beans is too cute- I am a sucker for tiny pots of anything- and the fried mushrooms and tomatoes stop you from feeling too much of a fried meaty carnivore. Looks welcoming actually just arrogant and rude. Agree with the comment already written here. The site itself is really nice, big windows and it should a relaxing place to hang out and do work. However the staff are a) massively rude and b) incompetent which is not a great mix really. I've been there a few times for breakfast, which tends to be mixed. I went there on a Saturday and now won't bother going back. I got there ahead of my girlfriend, and despite telling them my girlfriend was on the way, was told I had to sit at the main central table as the tables were for families. This is the second time I went to this establishment. Since some time has passed, I thought I would give them another chance. The first time I went the service was horrendous. My husband vowed to blast them all over the internet at how horribly rude they were. Since over a year had passed, I thought I would chance it again as the atmosphere physically is not bad and they have vegan options. News flash... Not too much has changed.
