Had a Lovely meal here. Good food average price can't fault it. Make sure you book a table as we luckily did and when arrived was told it was fully booked even though it was completely empty obviously when they realised we had booked in advance all was fine.

I was not expecting much when I heard of an American BBQ place in Rome but I was pleasantly surprised. It was so good! My favorite was the brisket though the ribs were really good too. Also the desserts were amazing. Would definitely go back if I was feeling homesick while in Rome.

Been to this place a few times and always tastes great! The meat is top quality. I wouldn't recommend the mashed potatoes or Mac and cheese sides though because they are lacking a bit and sorry but I do them better at home ; Pork belly and brisket platters with a side of a baked potato topped with cheddar and sour cream and of course a delicious tap artisan beer is the perfect dish! My wife ordered the chicken burger. The bread was rock hard, the chicken tasted like cheap supermarket chicken that was frozen and was so bland I couldn't help her eat it. I ordered ribs, two orders. I received 2 ribs, for 7 euros that's like 10 USA dollars for two ribs! The beans were canned beans with BBQ sauce. I'm literally writing this review as I sit trying to finish this terrible dinner that was so crappy my stomach is already gurgling.

The place is really nice and the staff is kind, IF ONLY the they would put a bit more attention in what they do and serve this place would have got a sure 5/5. The quality of the meat served overall is good, but I found that the seasoning was quite weak if not present at all. The dishes tend to be served at room temperature. Sides are definetly too expensive for what you get (4 euros for what should have been a bit of coleslaw not even good, and 3.50 for one chicken wing). Disappointed for what it was presented to me as a real BBQ experience and turned out to be just some meat on a plate.

The meats were amazing. Tender and flavorful brisket. Perfectly cooked sausage links. Truly exceptional. The nachos were chips with cheese-whiz type cheese sauce (American movie theater cheese) and jalapeno slices. The guacamole tasted like it had pickles in it. The mac and cheese wasn't good. It was just odd. Out of three mac-and-cheese-eating kids, only one would eat it, The craft beer was delightful and the guys at the counter were friendly. That said, if you stick to the meat, you'll be extremely happy. Can't wait to go back for the sausage, brisket and a stab at the ribs. Recommended! Voir le carte

My boyfriend and I tried Smoke Ring for the first time last night. We ordered chicken wings, a brisket burger, a North Carolina (pulled pork sandwich) and a baked potato with sour cream. I liked the chicken wings although I wish they offered different sauce options (only BBQ available). Although the meat on my pulled pork sandwich was good, I wish the sandwich would've had more sauce; it was a bit dry. My boyfriend said he loved his brisket burger. All in all, as Rome doesn't probably have many other BBQ joints (this is the first I ever heard of), Smoke Ring is a good choice if you're really craving BBQ.

Very bad we've ordered per delivery 1 pork ribs 1 bbq chickenwings 1 hellfire chickenwings 5 in total 20,80 € plus delivery costs. The disappointment the wings where undercooked we got 12 pieces instead of 15 and 1 rib instead of 1 slab of ribs as you get at a normal restaurant when you order food I called the restaurant they told me to call the delivery service which makes no sense i initiated a chat with them at Glovo they did not provided me an email address where to send my complain nothing clearly thiefs so i had to order Mc Donalds for my friends this review is going on all the platforms with pictures

SMOKE RING was a restaurant/craft beer bar I couldn't resist going to as the meals menu was superb and the craft beers on offer are simply outstanding. We were visiting a couple of pubs and craft beer bars ,most notably The Lochness Pub and Brasserie 4 20 and passed this place and after a quick study of the menu's we decided to drop in. The meal menu is superb with great American offerings such as BBQ ribs,burgers and the like and 10 draught taps offering some great craft beers . The restaurant itself is cool with chunky wooden tables and chairs and nice decor and furnishings,it's very popular and on our visit was really busy with a cracking atmosphere.
