They offer a good variety of dishes with options for vegetarians, which is rare at buffets. The student discount is a bonus. It is arguably the best Indian buffet in Derby now that Jimmy's has closed down.

Be sure to check your bills, as three out of three times they overcharged us. Once may have been a mistake, twice a coincidence, but three times out of three is something to consider. We will not be returning. Voir le carte

Slice of India is a fantastic spot for parties! They offer a wonderful selection of North Indian, Thai, and continental dishes. Their milkshakes, which can be found at the bar, are also delicious! Overall, I had a great experience at Slice of India.

I frequently go to this restaurant when I crave Indian food. It offers a great buffet with a wide variety of options, and the dessert is truly unique and delicious - something you can't find elsewhere in Britain. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I have many fond memories of this place.

Have just eaten here in Derby have come from Birmingham. Very impressed with the food buffet. Massive variety and tastes to suit. With a dessert section. Thank you also for the consideration made for my partner who is disabled. The manager sat us in a booth near the buffet. Good disabled parking. A very pleasurable experience. amazing selection of food, good quality. great value. eating is more traditional Indian, so they are not corma or tikka masala and the Indian food is quite hot. there are also good noodle options, grilled meat, pizza, chips etc. for non-currency lovers and desserts are quite fab for a buffet. even unlimited refills on softdrinks when the curry becomes too hot! the best buffet restaurant in derby by by far!

Went last night for a friend’s 30th celebration and there was around 40 of us. The table was dirty with only a fork and a spoon set up. As for the food, was absolute garbage especially considering it was £40 for two of us on a Friday evening(!!! plus a pint and a coke for £8. The food was tasteless and the curries reminded me of the Uncle Ben’s out-of-a-jar stuff. Though it was admittedly edible enough for me to have a feed plates trying to try out everything, I ended up leaving a fair bit of it on my plate. The environment was crowded and screaming kids everywhere. If you want a decent, relaxing meal then Slice of India is really not where you ought to go.

I used to love going here, despite living an hour away. This was our first visit for some time, though, and I think it was probably our last. The quality of the food is really poor now. It's just not worth the cost and the long journey. The staff were brilliant. Service was good. The starters were nice. Desserts were also alright but there's very little to choose from now. The chocolate they now use in the chocolate fountain is awful. Really cheap and nasty. The stir-fry was burnt but undercooked. The guy didn't use enough oil and didn't cook it for long enough. The curries were really bad. The sauce is alright, but the meat was awful. One contained only bones and bits of skin. No actual mea... Voir le carte
