"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"

"I never write reviews for restaurants, but after our meal last night I felt compelled to write one for this beautiful little place! I and my friend heard of this place by some of his work friends (clear the word is widespread!, and we decided to go there. they can bring their own weeping that was really beautiful! it is really a tiny place, but filled with so much atmosphere - there was a man who played the piano in the corner. the waitress was beautiful and explained to us the menu - there were 3 appetizers, 3 nets and various puddings. we chose a pasta and a garnel, along with an avocado mozarella and tomatensalat. neither court could I blame, both were so tasty! for the net we had seabread, and a chicken dish - both with sweet again, so delicious. what the whole experience is made beautiful that they can see reno cooking her eating, as the kitchen is quite open to you to see. everything was made fresh and was really interesting to watch. we were too full for pudding, but reno sent us about some small sweet pieces of wafer and creamy ricotta- we were told what they were called but I can't remember now! but they were beautiful and exactly what we needed when none of us could have ended a whole desert. a beautiful little touch. we then sat comfortably and ended our wein, we didn't feel hurryed or a necessity to finish. reno came over the chat to us, and they can see that he is really thrilled and loves what he does. At the end of the evening, someone started from another group of people to play and sing. reno entered, and turns out that he is a dab hand, not only cook, but also sing. if they want to eat amazing, a personal note and something else, please give this place one away. reno told us that they will soon open the cellar to care for more people - clear, the word spreads over this place, and we will certainly also spread the word. x"

Moonsha Japanese Bar Restaurant

"We ordered 2 'Moonsha Sushi Platter Deluxes ', which were pictured on the menu to come on a Japanese wooden platter ship, but when we were served the food came on what looked like white plastic chopping board trays.. I ordered a cider and they put ice in it which would of been nice for them to ask me first, as I had to fish them out of my drink after. When at the table with our food and drinks a member of staff kept looking over to see if we had finished our drinks repeatedly. And even came over at one point, mid conversation and started to try and pour the rest of my half full drink from the bottle into my glass, which is so rude, trying to get us to buy more drinks. There wasn 't any atmosphere in the restaurant at 7:30pm and staff seemed a bit unhappy, no thank you or general courteousness normally expected at restaurants. The Sushi rice its self was ok in 2/3 rolls, one being drier and a little harder than the other 2. The fish was of fair quality, crab sticks were used in the rolls rather than real crab which was a little disappointing for just under £30 for basically 3 rolls. £24.90 online menu, £26.90 on the menu in the restaurant) For the price I was very disappointed tbh. I have eaten at multiple Japanese restaurants in Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Leeds and Burton on Trent. And the food at Moonsha in terms of portion size, quality and price is the second worst and most expensive I have had, even London was cheaper and offered more food of better quality.. Location, there is a pay to parking near the restaurant which isn 't far to walk. Would I go back? No I don 't think i would, mostly because of price, atmosphere and staff."
