"We visited Skewd to celebrate my Dad's 70th birhday and the evening was faultless. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly warm welcome from the owner. When seated, I realised I had actually booked for 5 people instead of 6. I was initially worried as the resturant was very busy. The owner (I wish I knew his name as he really makes you feel welcome) immediately moved us to another table, which could accommodate us and told me not to worry. The service throughout the evening was excellent and the food amazing. My Dad was given 2 complimentary deserts with a candle, which was lovely. This wasn't my first visit here and definitely won't be my last as everthing was perfect, just as it was on my previous visit. The ambience is also very nice. I highly recommend a visit."

Our waitress was wonderful, such a kind helpful young lady even when one in our party knocked over her wine glass which broke. A new plate of food arrived for her as some shards of glass went on her dish. The food was very good a bit overpriced but we did enjoy it. The music was too loud to have a decent conversation so we wouldn’t come again on a Friday or a Saturday. Overall a nice modern well staffed restaurant so thank you.
