Lovely food, excellent value and friendly staff. Visited with my sister for lunch. The fish and chips were excellent, hand cut chips, beautiful fresh fish in delicious batter. Would definitely return

Covid safe,helpful chatty staff,beautiful home cooked food,great service,will be back delicious.The pub also sports a pizza oven with a tasty menu of different stone baked pizzas,may have to try one on my next visit.

We ordered 3 meals today for lunch and waited 55 minutes for them. On arrival, it was very poor quality. Chips appeared to have been re-heated, the peas were pale green and tasteless. Will not be returning or recommending. Voir le carte

The food is delicious (especially the large chips), the service is great, and despite the challenging times, they have a real bar outside in the garden. However, when the sun sets, it can get chilly. Looking forward to the day when we can go back inside.

We called in for lunch yesterday.The food was good . The pub has maintained a 25% cut in prices after the Eat out to help out scheme. The pub boasts an excellent outside seating area, for more clement days.Amber served us. It was so refreshing to be served by a pleasant genuine young lady.

Called in with a friend, pub lovely staff nice but did notice one lady not doing a great deal and on her phone all the time very unprofessional) food was a little tasteless and definitely not fresh all seemed and tasted like it was microwaved. Visited Fri with friends I ordered curry it was beef although well presented with rice nan poppadom the curry sauce was very watery and un appealing cant recommend eating hereI think there's new management here so unfortunately not promising I would have given staff my feedback but no one asked if everything was OK

Wrong information given with menus, said only skinny fries were available, till said that was wrong and they had mash and chunky chips. Food arrived with soggy fish batter, hard overly crispy fish fingers and onion rings Soggy naan bread, leathery popadoms.4 small pieces of meat on the hanging kebabs with vegetables that seemed old, as if they’d been left for days, black burnt corn on the cobs and soggy fries on the side. Unorganised service, tried to take our starters away twice after they’d already been taken, then a long wait between starters and mains.

We arrived at the pub without realizing that it had been taken over by Greene King. We used to enjoy this place, with its delicious menu and cozy atmosphere. However, when we left, we found that it had changed for the worse. The atmosphere was cold and lifeless, and the food was terrible. The menu was very limited and no one checked on us to see how our meal was. I ordered lasagne and chips (the chips were okay), which came with garlic bread so hard it could be used as a table. My fiancée had the curry, which only had the option of chicken korma or Thai green. Unfortunately, it looked unappetizing. I will not be returning to this place as long as it is owned by Greene King.
