"I was delighted to see this restaurant reopen in Ashton after being closed for a long time as a Thai restaurant. We decided to order a takeaway to give it a try. The menu is extensive, with over 100 items to choose from which made me a bit hesitant. The cuisine offers a mix of Indian, Pakistani, English, Chinese, Japanese, and even pizza options. For starters, we ordered an aubergine dish with feta salad and hot and spicy squid, followed by a Japanese chicken dish and a lamb Indonesian style for mains. We were told the wait time would be 40 minutes, but it arrived 65 minutes later with apologies and free delivery. We understood that the delay was due to the restaurant being newly opened. The starters were delicious, but the mains were disappointing. The sticky rice that came with both dishes was soggy, and the portion of chicken was very small, only enough for three bites. The sauce was just average. My husband's dish had more meat but was not particularly enjoyable. I might consider dining here again, but it seems like the menu is too extensive for everything to be prepared fresh."

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The menu was superb and the staff was amazing. Our kids loved the burgers and milkshakes while we indulged in the delectable Mediterranean dishes. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant. It is family-friendly, clean, with quick service and the food was excellent.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times with my husband and friends, as well as for takeout. I must say, the food is excellent and the service is impeccable. My friends enjoyed the food and ambiance as well, and I highly recommend giving it a try. I am a regular customer and love the fact that they have a good car park. Additionally, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Don't forget to try their food!

Had a fantastic meal at this restaurant! The Special Kebab Mix 1, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, and Malaysian Curry with steamed rice were all delicious and reasonably priced. The portions were generous, especially the flavorful and tasty kebabs. The Malaysian Curry was spicy and full of flavor, a nice change from traditional Indian curry. I also stopped by for their Gingerbread Lattes and Ice Cream Milkshakes during my lunch breaks and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend this place if you're in Ashton!

The portion sizes were generous, the staff was friendly and professional, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this place to families with kids as there is something on the menu for everyone. The restaurant was clean, had a lovely atmosphere, and played good music in the background. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant and I encourage other parents to give it a try - you won't be disappointed. Leaving the restaurant with a smile on my face, I was delighted that the kids enjoyed their meal, making for a peaceful drive home.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
