The staff are fab. I arrived just as the food was stopping, the owner kindly still cooked me up some great fish and chips! Much appreciated.

I visited the pub in between business meetings. The staff at the bar were very friendly. The pub was very clean and had ample parking. Thank you.

I met with the family for lunch. I was served greasia over boiled chicken wings, which was reheated where definitiw and tasted dirty chip oil. definitiw a bad cook cleanse her friteur her lazy cook Voir le carte

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was good, and the dining experience was satisfactory during our visit. However, it seems that things have changed since then. The restaurant has a large garden.

We visited yesterday, Sunday 26th January, for a family get together of 11 The carvery was delicious and 1 member of our party chose off the alternative menu and said the same. Thank you very much for the attentive service and lovely food for our...family get together.

Ordered the ribs and wings, was dry and barely edible, I don’t often leave reviews however the food I would avoid. Could definitely use a new menu or new chef. Ribs were dry, wings tasted reheated in the micorwave. 2 stars for the friendly staff...and good local atmosphere. came here for a meal while in the area, very disappointed, i had the pie which was cold and chewy, and my fiancé had the lasagne which had clearly come from a ready meal packet as there was a large piece of plastic in it....staff were good enough to refund both meals but chef clearly doesnt have a clue. also felt like we were intruding into the locals pub, and felt like people were constantly watching us.

We had a pleasant evening, but the dessert was disappointing. Only the middle part of the cake was edible, as the outer edges were so hard that it was difficult to cut through them with a fork. The filling was minimal. The cakes were served with undercooked, hard, and overly salty chips, and the sauces were watery. I understand that it is inexpensive pub food, but it should still be made well. I would not recommend this place.

We visited on Saturday 24th April, with a warm welcome. Donna served us throughout the afternoon, she was very friendly and helpful and we never had to wait to be served at any point during the afternoon, even though it was very busy, great service!...The two real Ales they had on which were Wadworth and Timothy Taylor were kept perfect, very tasty!! After looking at the tasty menu we decided to go for lunch, we had the Chicken Wing Bowl with sweet potage fries from the smokehouse menu, really delicious food!!! Lots of Gluten free options too.
