Tasty food, and nice to see separate vegetarian menu. The salt and pepper tofu was particularly good. I also really enjoyed the generous amount of tofu substituted for spring rolls. The all vegan Sen Viet is a better option. Voir le carte

I had a fantastic dining experience at SEN! I ordered two starters for my main course: avocado and vermicelli spring rolls with a peanut sauce, and crispy tofu. Both dishes were outstanding! The service was exceptional as well—very friendly and accommodating.

Some of the appetizers were quite good. I would suggest trying the papaya salad and the salt and pepper tofu. However, the Sài Gòn avocado rolls were heavily influenced by the flavor of one particular herb, which I believe was cilantro. As for my main dish, the stir-fry vegetable pho was okay, but nothing special.

I didn't know what to expect when I visited this wee restaurant, but I was absolutely blown away. There's a separate vegan menu, and everything we had was so delicious. The avocado summer rolls were served with a super-moreish peanut sauce and the lantern curry was rich and comforting with good range of veggies and a generous helping of tofu. The vegan options at Sen are fantastic. Oftentimes, the vegan offer at restaurants is essentially a meat dish with no meat, this is not the case here. The cruelty free options were absolutely superb. The menu is incredibly well thought out, complex flavours, authentic dishes and great variation in choices. The pho was exquisite, flavours were out of this world. Curry was warming, creamy and rich but somehow still very light and refreshing. This restaurant offers a more upscale and refined Vietnamese dining experience. The waiter inquired ahead of time whether we preferred the vegan or non-vegan menu, making it feel almost like a full vegan restaurant experience! We ordered the lantern curry, summer rolls, salt and pepper tofu, and finished with Ché for dessert. Without a doubt, the curry was the star of the meal. I usually don't have high expectations for curries, but it was so refreshing to find one that featured a wide variety of fresh, high-quality vegetables that were perfectly cooked—tender but not mushy—and generously packed with tofu. Professional waiting staff (cannot vouch for the food but would recommend going by experience with waiting staff). The restaurant was very presentable and had a very warm, clean atmosphere. I was not able to have any food due to all the allergens present in every single dish the restaurant has (e.g. peanuts, gluten, sugar, msg, etc) Waiting staff were very polite and sympathetic of my medical problems and tried their best to find something on menu to accommodate me which I very much appreciated.
