This is an excellent choice for good food, well prepared and presented, with warm service, and friendly help with the choices. Great value!

I think its difficult to find a good restaurant in zell am see. This restaurant was absolutley my favorite restaurant during our trip. we had salads as starters and we loved the dressing..the main dishes were all well prepared.

We had a very nice dinner, starting with amuse geul, tasty salat, locally sourced steak, dessert plus good Austrian wine. The staff worked fast and was very friendly. Only downside is the interior design, which is somehow uninspired. Voir le carte

The food was good, waitresses were friendly, but nothing special. We wanted to visit another restaurant but we could not find it. After returning to chalet I checked tripadvisor and I do not have the feeling it was so excelent like it is scored in tripadvisor. But it was not bad.

As usual Trip advisor did the trick. This place was highly recommend and indeed this place was amazing. Everything we had was great, fresh ingredients, fantastic presentation and most importantly, amazing taste. Indeed highly recommend if you are around that beautiful area and you are...not, then it is worth the special drive.

SeeWirt is a bit of a walk from the centre of Zell am See, but it is definitely worth the walk. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming, but very comfortable. The food was excellent - everything we had tasted brilliant and was obviously freshly prepared. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend. Voir le carte

Arrived late in Zell am See after a few days in Halstatt and ate here, food was better than any of the restaurants we tried in the Salzkammergut. Good service, tasty food, good value. Just a pity the place sort of lacks atmosphere and is a bit out of the way. Had the homemade ice-cream as pudding; tasted great. Never thought I'd recommend avocado ice-cream but it was delicious. I'd definitely try here if you are staying in Zell and See

On our way to lake Fuschl in Salzkammergut we had a stop in Zell am See for lunch. We followed the signs in the little village to Seewirt and parked our car very comfortably in a huge parking area in front of the restaurant. Obviously a place for families, we were happy to find a table in the outdoor area. The staff was busy, but very friendly. We ordered Zanderfilet ( fish) and Rehkeule (venison.) Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Venison came with Blaukraut ( red cabbage,) sweet/sour sauce of cow berries and lovely potatoes, Zander with a tasty selection of salad (lettuce, carrots,cucumber) and potatoes in brown butter sauce. Our dessert was a very nice vanilla Ice cream with hot stra...

We asked the older guys at the InterSport ski shop for a dinner rec that wasn't touristy. They laughed really hard and said "everything is touristy here!" But when I asked where THEY like to go, they immediately suggested Seewirt. It is a mile out of town, so we drove (too cold to walk....but after stuffing ourselves silly I wish we would've braved the cold).A very unassuming look from the outside and inside. The place was full of families and everyone speaking Austrian. We were the second to last table to finish, and that was at 8:45pm, so it really seemed to be a family place where folks ate early and then went home to bed.For only 60 Euro we had:the local "craft beer": light colored wheat...
