Really nice place to celebrate a special birthday. We had the set menu which was delicious and treated ourselves to some lovely cocktails. Owen served us and was lovely. He was very attentive and brought my sister a sweet treat to celebrate her birthday which made our lunch more memorable. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Friends constantly rave about this place so my expectations were high. We had a fantastic evening, the food was well presented, tasty and a nice pace between courses. The staff were attentive, always there for drink orders or to help snap a few Group photos. A lovely dinner at the glasshouse tonight. The food was gorgeous, and the staff friendly especially Jana who served us, she was a delight, friendly, funny and seemed to genuinely care about our dining experience being a good one. You do pay for the quality of the food but when you consider what you get its actually pretty reasonable. Will defo be going back. I had my judo clubs end of year Xmas dinner on Saturday evening the starter was a very nice soup but my main which was served 10+ minutes after the rest of the group I was unable to eat as it was hot but uncooked vagatables as were the potatoes and I am afraid the turkey was tasteless. The rest of the group did not have any problems mine appears to have been because it was late so not cattered for, no compliments to the microwave. I visited to just grab a coffee, which was ok but far from the best I have had. But why on earth is a service charge added on a single item? Given this is not the States, this obsession with a service charge is ridiculous. Staff should be paid a living wage, and a tip should be a bonus not an expectation. Decor is nice enough, and staff are polite. Well I’m writing this to warn others. My daughter has a sever nut allergy. On booking we told them, on entering we told them, on ordering we told them, the menu clearly marks which foods are nut free. When she chose the Christmas pudding. I asked the waitress to check. Even though the menu said ok. Thank goodness she did. It contains nuts she advised after checking. I phoned the restaurant at 9am this morning having not slept with thoughts of what if. Also as there was no apology from any one senior at the time. When I explained. The manager said oh I will look into this and get back to you. Well 10.5 hours on. not even a. Call back.
