This restaurant offers good quality food and is worth the visit. The only downside is that they only accept cash payments. Despite this, I would definitely return and highly recommend it. It is conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk from Greenacres Caravan Park.

Having read the previous review I wasn’t expecting too much, however what a pleasant surprise! Fish cooked to perfection chips nice and crispy no grease . Excellent portion size I had to share what I couldn’t eat with my very happy Labrador. I’ll certainly make a return visit

A frosty reception followed by a distinct lack of customer service. We were really looking forward to fish and chips after a day at the beach and a holiday treat but turned out to be a soggy, greasy, stale (chips) let down. Was at nearby Greenacres Caravan site.Tried this fish and chip shop because caravan site chip shop was closed. Really wish I hadn't bothered. The fish and chips were really bad.The chips were greasy and undercooked and fish the same with floury, very soggy batter. I wouldn't recommend this establishment at all.

The the last night of our holiday so we treated ourselves to Fish Chips. Schooner was a few minutes walk from the house we were staying in so silly not to try it. End of September so only opened for early evening but this also meant all food was freshly cooked for us. 3 adults had a fish each and shared two portions of chips which were more then enough. Would definately go again if in the area.

We decided to try this restaurant based on the positive reviews while searching for dinner options during our vacation. Our son wanted fish and chips, so we ordered two fish, two large portions of chips, and a side of gravy for £22. The fish was thick and a good size, but a bit dry, and the batter was soggy and peeling off onto the paper, lacking crispiness. The chips were tasty but crunchier than I prefer. The gravy was delicious with no complaints. Overall, the meal was decent and filled us up, but I have had better fish and chips elsewhere. Voir le carte
