This place is characterized as a gourmet experience... it is definitely not. We got a three-course dinner two nights in a row (pack deal) and on the first day, the older woman waiting for our table could really not be disturbed. The first two dishes were cold when they finally arrived and the last dish was warm and it took almost 3 hours to complete the dinner while other couples with other waiters did the same in less than 2 hours. On the second day the service was much better, but the food wasn't great yet.

We took the river boat there and then walked the rest. To get up to the castle you have to walk uphill for a couple of blocks. It’s pretty steep. There is some parking at the entrance. It was like everything else I have experienced here in Germany. You buy tickets and walk in. I imagine that you can just walk in without payment since no one is there to collect tickets or even check to make sure you have paid. The grounds are very neat. Lots of beautiful views from the top. There’s a small museum inside. The bathrooms were interesting.
