Saracen's Head - Menu

I visited this restaurant for a midweek dinner and was impressed by the delicious food, excellent service, and the effort it took to discover this hidden gem. Thank you to the staff, highly recommend it.

Had an amazing stay here this weekend, lovely rooms and location. Great food and service in the restaurant. Breakfast options were epic. We loved the focus on local food. Great place to stay and eat when touring norfolk.

A warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere and excellent fare. The best venison I have tasted in ages and the pork shoulder was moist and tender and had obviously been slowly roasted. Traditional cooking just how it should be, many thanks and we look forward to a return visit. Lindy and Bill, Ingham

We literally stumbled across The Saracens Head whilst out walking and in need of a hearty lunch. What a fabulous find it proved to be. Good quality produce, excellent menu choices and great dessert selections. For dog owners, there is a room for dining accompanied by your pooch. We really enjoyed our meal, staff are friendly and attentive, prices are fair and reasonable.

Stayed overnight with our dog. Unfortunately the journey cross country took seven hours which cut down our time here. It had such a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was at the top and was very comfortable. We had a delicious evening meal, dressed crab, new potatoes and salad, a caesar salad and a side of truffle and parmesan chips. Would definitely return if we were ever in the area again. Just wonderful

Fabulous Sunday lunch. A little gem in the middle of countryside. Great service, friendly but non intrusive. Pumpkin soup starter was full of flavour and silky smooth. Roast beef tender, Yorkshire pudding fluffy and crisp and roast potatoes tasted delightful and rich. Wine selection great and good value. I didn 't have dessert, but parter had the sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce, which was 'best ever '. Can 't wait to return to try the Al Carte menu and specials.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy a lovely meal at Saracens Head on a bright October weekend. My steak and ale pie with smokey mash and parsnips was excellent. Other members of our party were very pleased with their luncheon choices of venison and their vegetarian main course. The crispy belly pork was also much enjoyed. To end our meal on a delightful sweet note, we enjoyed the sweet and tart blackberry and apple crumble, a luscious vanilla creme brulee, and a rich affogato. The presentation and service were wonderful!

A friend arranged a Friday lunch for a group of 8 of us at Saracen's Head. They have a separate dining room with beautiful pictures, large windows, and a glowing woodburning stove, which was perfect for a cold day. We all ordered different dishes and everyone thought their dish was the best. The service was efficient and discreet. I highly recommend Saracen's Head. You can combine a group lunch with a nearby walk and treat yourself to three courses. I certainly did! Congratulations to the team for creating such a wonderful place.

we decided to join us today! we live on the coast of snettisham norfolk. that took about an hour. a friend should join the diss. he didn't come. the staff was great, the wine-grain merlot was perfect in attempt. fresh water with a really clean glass water jug with ice immediately provided, just like a certain of their flawless service .so beautiful! we had makrele and start the huh and bacon terrarine. we have blown ourselves the perfectly! then the sunday roast pork was delicious zingy with the groomed and the bark meat was perfectly cooked and everything they want to eat from a roast beef! the gray!
