"Called in by chance in the hope that there would be a table free prior to going to the cinema, and the gentleman was very accommodating. What a brilliant little find, I didn't even know about this little restaurant, it was my partner who found it. The food was delicious, freshly cooked. Portions were very sizeable, in fact I felt rather full such that I had to skip a desert. We will have to come again and will likely book next time. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal."

"We'd decided to go to Green Lane fish and chip restaurant last Friday having had a busy day.We had been intending to have the rag pudding but when we sat down Paul the owner manager told us they were doing a Christmas special which he highly recommended as did all the staff. So we both had the Festive pie with chips,mushy peas and gravy. The pie included Turkey,sausages,stuffing in gravy and was absolutely delicious.We both really enjoyed it but I struggled to eat it all as it was quite a generous portion. As usual the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service has always been excellent and overall value for money."

"on Friday evening with my colleagues sung on this place and we had a nice time. greeted by josh bar, did not wait for our drinks, which were incredibly expensive by the way. they had a singer who had a fantastic selection and played in all age groups. "Amazing place to come for great, flavourful Italian food. Came here for the first time last week and we had some truly good food, that tasted very authentic and was excellently made. We had the three courses for a set price option, which in some places reduces your choices for what to have but not here, the options are wide and varied and every taste is catered for. The starters were nice, I had the soup of the day (tomato) and my partner had the breaded mushrooms. It was the mains that stole the show though, I had the chicken breast in peppercorn and cream sauce which was gorgeous! I had the mixed vegetables as my side and all together made a truly lovely meal. My partner had the chicken stroganoff and she was blown away by it, even as far as to say it was the nicest she’s ever tasted! Compliments to the chef indeed. Deserts, again were very, very nice indeed, I’d highly recommend the cheesecake myself. We went on a Friday night, so as you can imagine it got busy, very busy. The restaurant itself is quite compact and a lot of tables have been put in here, so you do sit quite close to your fellow diners. It is close, but not close enough to become uncomfortable, there’s just enough space. The staff are highly attentive and serve you quickly whenever anything is needed. The food and drinks come quickly as well, you don’t have to wait long at all and all empty plates and glasses are cleared away quickly. Even though your orders come swiftly and plates go as soon as they are empty, you never feel rushed at all and as stated, the staff are very helpful, professional, polite and always serve you with a smile, it’s simple things like that, that make dining here a must. I’d highly recommend coming here if your craving good, hearty authentic Italian food."

"I introduced a booking for people were children) and a baby in a child car. asked to pay a non-refundable payment than we in the restaurant the members were immediately stopped by what seemed to be the manager who had claimed the pram...not explained and argued that it was not in the notaries! first, this man has to accept mistakes on his own personal part, as we regularly dine as a large family and I always mention this point. the table was long and there was a space without a chair so that the child car could easily have gone there, but he did not have it because of covid and it was not fair on other diners. we were then asked to wait another half an hour while they were sorting another table, but soon solved the problem by taking a table away so that the pram could go at the end. he said someone had canceled. yes, right! truth is that I have always rated this restaurant, but I hate to say that this was not the best experience. we felt hurried and was overloaded, oh and they added service to all bills, so I asked them immediately to remove this as it was about lizhi please try to clean on their customer service skills and welcome children whatever the age, because I personally do not think they are welcome!"
