"Our team had a team dinner in the restaurant in July 2017. There came about 20 of us. We stayed outside due to hot weather. The outside seating area was spacious. The restaurant took our booking with just 30 minutes notice but there was no issue with organization nor services. The food was awesome. It's not easy to meet expectations of a global team and typical schnitzels and heavy German food in general doesn't work well. However, there was no such issue in Santiago and everyone was happy with their food. The choice was great and the food was perfect. The only minor issue was that the staff didn't quite speak English so it was more difficult to communicate but the restaurant deserves 5 stars anyway."

Wir hatten von Bekannten schon vom Santiago gehört und wollten es nun selber ausprobieren. Uns hatves wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Hier hat alles gestimmt. Leckere Cocktails, super leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung. Wir konnten auf alle Fälle wieder.

Sollte man zu einer großen Reservierung gehören auf keinen Fall früher oder als erstes kommen, man wird bedrängt ob auch alle kommen da der Betreiber ja Verlust machen könnte. War 15 Minuten vor Reservierung da um freundlich nachzufragen ob der Tisch schon frei ist, das mache ich nie wieder. Er schicke ja die ganze Zeit Leute weg. Von Anfang bis Ende war es bei uns sehr bescheiden, der Chef war genervt, wir auch alle aufgrund des unfreundlichen Umgangs. Diesen Laden werde ich nie wieder betreten, besser für meine Nerven und die des Chefs.

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
