Always Have the hunters chicken, no salad on the plate anymore, it looks terrable, the plate is empty, 2,for 11.99, charge more if needed don't make the meals look pathetic very disappointed

We celebrated Christmas Day at this restaurant. The food was incredible and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, our experience was fantastic and we plan on returning in the future.

We received a warm welcome at the entrance of the restaurant. The service at our table was excellent, and the food was delicious. Our server, Amy, was very friendly and polite. We will definitely return in the future. Voir le carte

We had a wonderful Christmas Day lunch at this restaurant. The starters, carvery, and desserts were all delicious, and the service was exceptionally quick. The staff were all very friendly and made our day even more enjoyable.

Usually the sandpiper is a lovely place we enjoy coming to, however today the older lady in the play area’s attitude was disgusting. Treated my grandmother like dirt and it really wasn’t nice to hear. Brought the atmosphere right down.

Disappointing decline in quality, admittedly we went for the ‘two for 11.99’ offer, but my curry was just sauce with a pathetically few pieces of chicken. The other meals were not wonderful either. I won’t be back unless I go fr the full price menu. Voir le carte

We called in Saturday 28th for my step daughters birthday. We hadn't booked as it was a last minute decision. We were greeted by a lovely waitress named Rhian who sat us in a lovely area. We have a lively 4 year old and Rhian provided him with colouring sheets and crayons. We have eaten at the Sandpiper alot over the years as its local but also has a lovely play area for the children. But I wanted to leave this review in recognition to Rhian she was absolutely lovely and her attention to detail made the birthday celebrations special. Diolch Rhian you are a credit to the company

We called for a windy wet afternoon for a late lunch To be honest we were not inspired by anything on the menu but evtually opted for the Thai green curry which was a vegetarian dish. We added a chicken breast as we both wanted something with meat The curry arrived at a reasonable time after ordering and was served with rice . It was best described as bland and didn't resemblance anything like the green Thai curry we know and love . We sat by the window and the view of the lake was pleasant but we were freezing. I have lived within walking distance of this establishment for nearly five years, so I can honestly truthfully review this restaurant as I have over the years frequented here on more than several occasions but only once this year as it really isn’t doesn’t get any better.. EVERY time I have chosen to eat here I regret it The restaurant decor is shocking in desperate need of at least a fresh new lick of paint. The carpeted areas STINK, as they’ve probably never been thoroughly cleaned. The uncarpeted areas of floor are the stickiest floor I have EVER had the unfortunate pleasure to walk upon the tables are as well, sticky is an understatement, the tables are obviously just quickly wiped with...
