Always very welcoming, friendly staff, great service and lovely food. Glad we live in walking distance.

Food is excellent, having been here many times, the last 2 visits we've noticed the meal sizes have shrunk.. In particular the prawn starters and the lamb shank. Other than that the quality is still amazing!! Voir le carte

The penne all'arrabbiata was fantastic, with just the right amount of spice and flavor, and high-quality pepperoni. It's definitely one of the best I've ever had! The tiramisu was also delicious and fresh. It's great value for money, and I would definitely visit again!

This Italian restaurant is charming with a variety of dishes on the menu. I have frequented Gios many times over the years and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The service is also fast when it comes to food. I would definitely recommend it. They also have a great selection of hot drinks and desserts.

Food as always was lovely It was NYE and despite us visiting this restaurant on many a NYE where they usually closed at 02:00, we were very disappointed that it shut at 11:00. We hadn’t even been informed despite them calling to check our reservation There was no NYE joviality or atmosphere and we had to go routing for a pub that didn’t require an entrance ticket Voir le carte

Where do i start. The pasta my (adult) daughter ordered looked like a childs portion and yet £14 is definitely not childs price. Despite pointing out to staff that it was ridiculously small portion, significantly smaller than other pasta dishes in our group including 1 who had exactly the same dish, they refused to accept that there was an issue. Even the manager said there was nothing wrong. There was significantly more food on the plate of my nephew who had the same dish but they didn't seem to care so we refused to accept it and sent it back. My daughter had to call at macdonalds on the way home for her food. Then to make things worse when my salmon arrived it was overcooked. I love salmo...

Here is a photo of us last year my child eating a child’s portion of pasta, and here is this year the adult portion of pasta they tried to give me tonight…… same bowl….. The manager was very apologetic and wanted to corrected it. But this was 15 minute’s after the waitresses argued that this was the correct portion and then I watched her get shouted at by the chef for a good 4 minutes and he outright said no and refused to add more. The waitress brought the food back to me so I took a photo of it…. I decided to simply ask them to remove it from the bill and take the food away which they did. My husband, son, and I recently visited San Giovanni's for the first time since before the COVID lockdown, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy a sit-down meal experience once again. Although we have been ordering takeout meals, there is just something special about sitting around a table together. It was my 65th birthday, and this dinner was a wonderful treat. We started with garlic bread and a variety of appetizers, including tender spare ribs, meatballs, and calamari. For our main courses, I had a delicious fillet steak stroganoff with rice, my husband tried the linguine al gamberoni, and my son enjoyed his favorite, lobster ravioli.
