"Lived here 23 yrs and never used this place. Decided to give a go Sat 13th. Rang up to see if we could have a certain curry with the set meal for 1. The guy was so helpful and friendly. We ordered and he said 20 mins. He rang us in 15 and said it was ready great as was only 2 blocks away. I am a very fussy about what I eat as I cook from scratch every day. Most takeaways don’t thrill me. However on entering the premises I was delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. You could eat off the floor and I don’t say this lightly. The guy front of house was so lovely too. Inside we got 2 poppadoms, mango, onions, yog. Then Seek kebab, onion bhaji, chick tikka, lamb tikka. Then the prawn and chick Balti and pilau rice( large portion I might add). Then there was a veg bhaji which we thought would be like an onion bhaji but it was like a curry and same size( not sure if that was a mistake but did state veg bhaji on the menu). Salad and plain naan. There was so much that we put the veg bhaji in the freezer. It was superb.. and I know good curry as Mughli, Rusholme, is our fave place. The food was hot, fresh and just amazing. All that was a set meal for 1...yes 1!!! Only £14. Will definitely be back for the lamb chops."

Ordered a takeaway of chicken tikka Manchurian and Neil’s Naga tonight from Saffron Express, both were absolutely delicious, 10/10, 5 star, well done guys.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, but we found the £30 price for a takeaway for two to be extremely high. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to the cost.

We have regularly used this takeaway since moving to Manchester and it has NEVER failed to deliver! Quick delivery time, massive portions of really tasty food and reasonably priced what is there not to like?

Lovely food every time. Guys are so lovely. On diet at moment and guys are so accommodating and helpful always lovely even when busy. Deserve 5 for customer service to go with there 5 rating food and hygiene. Great place well done

We absolutely adore this restaurant and order from here often. There is such a wide variety of options that it's difficult to pick favorites, but the chef's special mixed kebab (featuring chicken and lamb tikka, seekh and shami kebabs, and onion bhajis), garlic prawn curry, and chana masala are standout dishes. The food is always piping hot and freshly made, and the staff are extremely friendly.

My first experience ordering from this restaurant was fantastic. After reading the great reviews on Just Eat, we decided to give it a try. The food arrived quicker than expected, and the delivery driver was very friendly. It was evident that all the dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were piping hot. We requested one of the dishes to be spicier, and they were more than happy to accommodate our request. We will definitely be ordering from Saffron Express again. Thank you for a great meal!
